Hi
Never been to Xtasia but have been to most of the Manchester clubs and I can't imagine the rules would be much different. Swingers clubs are based on respect, in that people only need to do what they feel comfortable with. Very rarely is there any trouble like you often see in normal night clubs, and although you get the odd pushy guy, most are freindly and wait to be asked to take part in any action that is happening. In answer to your questions... Some people meet in clubs to go elsewhere, but a lot of action does go on in the clubs - couples meet other couples or singles hook up for group sex etc etc. Different clubs have different themed nights, so if you were planning to go on a particular night, just check with the web site to see that you are going on the right night! For example, some clubs have "greedy girls nights" in which there are lots of singles, whilst others have couples nights where singles are not allowed. Like I said, I don't know about Xstasia, but you could find out from their web site. The atmosphere in all the clubs I've been to is friendly, and yes you might get an invite or two if you're sitting having a drink, but if you don't fancy it just say no! No-one will think any less of you if you just go and watch, a lot of people just go to watch anyway, so you certainly wouldn't be unusual. My advice would be, just go once and check it out, nothing beats personal experience ;-) Have fun. Michelle
we also live on the south coast...but havent been to xtasia...just thought we would post something...
Xtasia - Well worth the trip
No it was Bristol Gardens Health Studio. They arent specifically a swing club but theres lots of naked people :-) I met a nice couple from Kent and spent a happy hour with them in one of the private rooms. They do have couples only night as well on Saturday I think, but I have yet to find a fem who will go with me :-(
