OK you guys must admit there is a fair amount of thick skin going around here, and disregard about other people's situation... It is not only hardcore swingers that can be inconsiderate, of course - I've seen even more hardened wankers and hardened dreamers ;) No, I don't see it as a logical conclusion to the lifestyle as it is obvious even to me that a lot of old-timers and very active swingers are not hardened at all (and don't even have to state it).
Neil I understand and to a certain extent agree with what you are saying re. similar experiences and sharing the journey. But really, exploration the way you describe it is a state of mind and a desire in itself, so only loosely affected by experiences. Besides, because everyone is different, even the same thing can still be a new experience.

Similarly here.
I was guilty of using the word hardened initially. For us "hardened" meant people for whom swinging was more a way of life, so those who were extremely regular at attending clubs etc and weren't interested in the friendship aspect, which we were looking for.
It didn't take long to realise that actually there were very few people like that, most people were just like us smile

We did the orgies, parties, socials and munches, we were regulars on the forums etc. I could quite easily see how people might assume that we were hardened as well. The reality was very different!
The telly has a lot to answer for!
