There is some advice about profiles.
Mind you, the best things I've heard about profiles is either have a look at lots of existing profiles and get a 'feel' for the ones that you like the most, or get someone from your 'target market' to help you write yours... if they've written it, then it may appeal to people like them.
Different people like different things I guess.
Am sure other people will offer you more advice too!
Well, you've been gently mocked by 2 old-stagers and welcomed by Nola. I reckon you are one of us now biggrin:D:D:D:D:D:D
:welcome:
Thank you very much lol, glad to be amongst such good company

Probably not if indeed you were presenting a good profile. Unless of course you have exceptional periferal vision. Quite a blessing in itself, though I wouldn't rely on it if I were you... it's a jungle in here. Beware! Danger, Will Robinson!... and all that.
Face them full-on, try to stare them down, but please please, no sudden movements.
Be prepared to present a clean pair of heels. They are quick. Rabid.
welcome.

In answer to your question I think that a profile should contain some info. There is nothing more annoying than checking someone's profile to find no info on it. It stops there and then for us and we tend to go no further. Profiles that have no photos I can understand because of some peoples jobs ( knowing hubby has the same problem ), but to have atleast the likes/dislikes part filled in! lol
Oh, and btw.. I think your profile is fine! wink
correct spelling - a typo is excusable but bad spelling is pants (in our opinion).
hello and thankyou for the replys will take it all in. Thanks again.

Lack of primary school punctuation and grammar too.
I certainly wouldn't call myself an expert....neither would anyone who knows me, but there are a couple of basic must do's if you wish to meet people, women in particular. You must give an approximate location, and you must post a photograph. Photos don't have to be special, just showing yourself is enough, unless you feel you have some exceptional or unique attribute which needs to be shown off. Guys might meet someone totally anonymously, but girls want to see you. You can keep face pics private and only show to those you choose. Lots of advice on the site about profiles...maybe I should've read it myself.
