What makes me happy ...... how long have you got???
My daughter telling me she loves me
My mother actually being genuinely proud of my achievements not just glad of something to show off to her colleagues and neighbours about (i have yet to experience this).

Finding money I didn't know I had. You know that tenner you folded away into a dark secret corner of your purse??
Finding clothes that actually fit and I can afford.
The knowledge that head cold isn't life-threatening.
Losing weight.
Waking up to a sunny day.
Finishing an essay at stupid o'clock in the morning but knowing tomorrow is the last day of term before the Easter hols!
My gorgeous sexy man who is the love of my life. Yeah, yeah, i know plenty of you will hate me for saying that but so what? I've found something I've never had before in my life and I want to shout it from the rooftops. If you have this with your partner then you know how I feel, right???

Sorry 'bout this one, but other than the usual (like the brilliant point put by Marya) I am made happy by being granted another day with the faculties I went to sleep with.
Believe me, there are too many days this doesn't happen. So...

Lots of things make me happy, my kids, our health (slight hic-cup there, but aye), appreciation for life etc. But I'm at my happiest when my scales are perfectly balanced (as they seem to be now) and I find it easier to take positive action in my life.

"LIVING" makes me happy, nature, the beautifull countryside, wildlife, the sounds of nature, canals and boats, the deafening silence when I am alone in the great outdoors, fresh air, good conversation, the company of an agreeable woman, a summers day, sunshine, a blue sky, a good meal. :happy:
