Outrageous Billy Connolly style humour makes me laugh, as did Fawlty Towers the first dozen times I watched it.
I love jokes with a good punch line, and I have friends who can tell them and make me laugh a lot - but can I remember them - sadly no!
And can I think them up for myself - also no!

Jack Dee really makes me laugh cos i love his sarcastic sense of humour - im a sarky so and so now and then too so i can relate to him.
I also love Lee Evans, his observations on life are hilarious.
I used to like The Young Ones years ago, but i recently saw an episode and sat there completely stone-faced. I guess my sense of humour has changed since the eighties. Used to like Catherine Tate, but thats worn off as well...
I loved 'Nighty Night' - that was truly brilliant. Black humour and hilarious!!

Do you know, after I'd read this thread, I pondered on how my sense of humour has changed. I still laugh at the Young Ones, but it's no longer side-splittingly funny to me, as it was when I watched the original series.
I do laugh more now at the likes of Billy Connolly, Lee Evans and Jack Dee.
Come to think of it- Billy Connolly just laughing makes me laugh! lol

How could you all have forgotten Tony Hancock. If 'The Blood Donor' doesn't make you laugh, you must be dead.
I'm sorry, "make you laugh" if it does anything less than make you fall off your chair pissing yourself because your laughing so hard then you have some sort of problem biggrin
Billy Connolly - funniest man in the world by a mile.
Spaced
The Mighty Boosh! I almost forgot!
Will Ferrell
Chelsea getting beat (doesn't happen often though)
Jokes in... poor taste
Eddie Izzard
Kenneth Williams
Peter Kay
What doesn't make me laugh one bit is Little Britain and that bloke in the neck brace... avid merrion - not that I don't get what they are trying to do, just that it's done poorly.
