The music to "Tales of the Unexpected" - you just knew weird sh*t was going to happen in the next hour...... :shock:
The first time I saw Jaws - nearly had a flippin' heart attack........(was only last week... biggrin

)
"The Tomorrow People" - another freaky "kiddies" prog from the '70's - anyone remember it? - You just HAD to watch it though!!!!!!

Clowns are scary: Even as a kid I found them bloody creepy.
That and that strange house near where we lived - it had been abandoned for years and even the local hard nuts would walk an extra half a mile to go round it rather than past it late at night...

OK .......... time for the men in white coats to come and take me away.......
When I was a child .......... I was scared of being in my bedroom at night ........... used to think Monsters were hiding under my bed .............. so .............. I would run into the room and take a flying leap on the bed ............. so that the Monsters couldnt grab my ankles as I got into bed.
I used to lay in bed and in my mind ............... put myself in a cupboard and lock the door ...... so that no-one could come and get me ............ the lock to my imaginary cupboard was on the inside .............. so I could lock myself in .......... all safe and sound. :loon:
and YES .............. I still do it .............. when I am in my house by myself ........ the only way I can get to sleep ...................is to run and leap onto the bed .......... and put myself in my imaginary cupboard and lock the door !!! :loon:
It was Doctor Who's fault ............... all those Monsters

When I was a youngster both me and my mate scared all our school class and the lower classes (ourselves as well) shitless, by scraping some markings in the dust and pretending that it was done by a Mummy, and that they were waiting outside the
school to get the kids at going home time.
Somehow we we even manged to tie the story in with a half day holiday because it was too dangerouse to stay till 16:00. In the end both us and the other kids were crapping ourselves for a week at going home time.

When i was little the daleks scared the hell out of me. I used to hide behind the setee or a ccushion when they were on. Also does any one remember " Armchair thrillers" where the skeleton sat on an armchair in the credits? that was scary. Now i think Debt collectors and idiots drunk in pubs worry me.
