I haven't ever looked at an advert on here... something I'm going to rectify tonight and shall report back later! 
But... in the meantime, I have to be honest and say that I probably see someone's decor in their house before I actually look at the person in the picture. Just recently I saw someone's pic and they have the same carpet as me which is a tad on the spooky side but also made me feel quite comforted in a weird sort of way... work that one out!! (I know I'm a bit odd before anyone feels the need to point it out!). Seeing something familiar in a picture or something that I might have in my house always makes me think I'd like that person more cause they have the same or similar taste as me. Maybe that's just in my head (and it is making sense in there!) but insight into someone's personality is for me relatively easy to gain from the blurb in their profile or from a picture. I guess I follow my instincts... so far so good!!
I've read all the things that people have said are turn offs and have to say that I agree with almost all of them!! I do actually wonder how on earth we actually meet anyone... I mean are we the minority who have clean fingernails, no red leather bound books, toby jugs, etc?
