My first...........riding in one...........
Nooooooooooooooooo ! Going out with MrFC and being picked up from work cool hey ! I was only nearly 17, and how cooool did I look then, sliding into a blue capri 8-)
Tavares playing in the background 8-) ...........ok !
It would now be called a boom box :giggle: a big ol strapping music centre on the back seat.
My first and fond memory in a car.........my first car ! after passing my driving test is another story  lol  no one tells you the hic cups that you may incurr..............but as I say another story..................
I know that this subject on your first car has been done before, but............all you new folk out there lets us share your escapades wink
White Austin 1300 costing £200 ..I so loved that car. My girlfriends dad came and vetted it for me before Ibought it .
Sorry to say that as grateful as I was I still couldn't resist using it as a love nest with his drop dead gorgeous daughter. redface Recall once getting cramp midst coupling ...excruciating agony as I tried to stretch my legs out in the back seat ..ended up having to wind window down to stretch leg fully out.
Also recall the time the water pump needed replacing. It should have been a 30 minute job if one had te right tools or knew what one was doing . The engine was transverse and to get the fan off you needed to take off the cowelling that surrounded it which was in two bottom half wouldnt come out as it was fouled by the bottom hose and .....you couldnt take off the bottom hose because...........it was fouled by the cowelling!!! confused It took us all day saturday and sunday morning to manouevere the bloody thing in and out mad I stuck to simple jobs after that and never bought a transverse engine car again .
My first car was a blue (Hreg) ford fiesta. I loved it. Then some bastard stole it and broke it mad evil :x
Mine was a V reg Clio and loved it to bits.
I still look out for it now aswell redface And that was the car i got before the one I have now, another Clio

Passed my test at 4pm bought a Ford Anglia at from my neigbour, stopped by police at rolleyes
Let me off with no insurance and such things cos the job I had at the time was in another country and I was just home for a few days visiting.
Blew the engine up in the Anglia before I went back to work tho

The electrics completely redone rolleyes

People still ask me how the heck I managed to get in and drive it as I'm 6ft 2" tall
I still miss it
My first car was a green Renault 5GTI, dont remember how much I paid for it, it stayed from about 1 year and was replaced by a Black Renault 5GTI!!!

My first car was a green Renault 5GTI

I learnt in one of those, then got myself an "umbrella on wheels" that I adored - the roof rolled back, the windows clipped up and half the sixth form from the boys' school over the road trying to roll me over because it was said it couldn't be done (to the car :shocksmile.
A Ford Escort van was my first car at 17 (carpetted the back and it was very handy! redface ), I had it a couple of years before I sold it and got into motorbikes. smile It was a few years before I got another car.
An old A reg Lada Estate, complete with 'go faster' stripes biggrin
a pink little tykes open bottom car bought from a boot sale for £2 bargain lol
