Does anyone know what happened to skinny dippers I know it changed to Min of Sin, but now that seems to have closed. Club Aphrodite is advertising a house with pool in Brighton, is it the same place...
If that is gone what other clubs are there in thye area we know all about BGHS...

Cheers for the heads up cpl4fun6 - if Skinny Kippers come back they can ask for the club to be reinstated ......... providing they go to admin..... and not me :uhoh:...... who hasn't a clue where the big red button sends it to :uhoh:

I know the D and K and nowhere near each other - but I'm a two handed typist, and use the middle finger of one hand for the D and the other for the K - never have been able to tell my left from rights

Skinnys was probably one of the best clubs in the south if not the UK in its heyday,
To bring this back onto topic, I can tell you that the main reason the club had to move, was because of the construction of the new flats next door, from that point onwards the nieghbours were not too keen on having parties every weekend under their noses and they put pressure to close the place down.
Dave and Linda, did a great job with very limited resources and funds at their disposal and the music with proper DJ's was always first rate. I know they planned to open again elsewhere and I seriously hope they do, but such venues are not easy to run, despite what people may believe.
I hope we will see them again one day.

Yeah Brighton hasn't been the same since. Me and Caroline are looking to revive the Brighton "scene" a little, as their departure has left a (pool-shaped) gap.
