There are soooooooooo many to the top of my head i'd say the entire first 30 minutes of Saving private Ryan, some of the most moving and hard to watch images ive ever seen, the end of Its a wonderful life, one of my alltime favourite someone alse has already said American history X,what a brilliant film and most of the harrowing scenes from The pianist, which is one of the greatest films of moderm times.
As already said, there are sooooo many:
The end of Ghost.
Sleepless in Seattle.
An officer and a Gentleman. (first time anyway)
Believe me, I've cried at them all!
Apocolipse now (on last night) when they hack the live cow apart, harrowing scene.
:P Cold Mountain
I know the critics had a field day with this one, but I cried from the minute that little bunny popped up in the trenches all the way through to end credits. It was such a weepy for me.

I remember seeing Saving Private Ryan at the cinema and the scene that was the most emotional for me was when the elderly Ryan was at the cemetary and he was asking is wife "if he lived a good life" to justify the sacrifice that was made for him.I was sitting next to an elderly man who was close to tears and it just had me thinking how lucky our generation was!

Probably not a very well-known film here, but the freeze frame at the end of "Elvira Madigan", where Elvira nearly catches a butterfly in her hands as a shot rings out.
Also, (cheating a bit as it's TV not film), "Yosser's Story" from "Boys From The Blackstuff", several points in the story. For me, it's the best thing ever on TV.
Mike.
William Parrish (played by Anthony Hopkins) walking over the bridge in "Meet Joe Black"
Bruce Willis's life flashing before his eyes of his daughter before he pushes the button in Armegeddon.
When 'Two Socks' was killed in Dances with Wolves!
I found Green Mile particularly moving sad
god yeah, some great memories,i know me mum always weeps when shane leaves, for sum reason i laff yet tears stream down my face when, in ET,the kids bikes take to the air,...emotion....its a strange beast,...........
one of mine is from the great film about a boy
when marcus starts to sing killing me softly
all the school calling him a wally
hugh grant face...a classic
he starts to sing.. strumming my pain with his fingers..everyone booing him
then hugh grant comes on and helps a classic
The Shawshank Redemption, a faultless film and very moving!!
Another one from Forrest Gump,
As Jenny lies dying in the same bed Forrest's mother died in, he's telling her all about his amazing life, and Jenny's last words are something like
"It sounds really beautiful. I wish I could have been there."
And as she closes her eyes for the last time, Forrest looks at her and says "You were."
The scene in The Patriot where the little girl runs after Mel Gibson shouting "I'll say anything you want, just don't go"
Awww dammit...someone hand me a tissue
