Whats this thing about age?

Why are so many people so specific about age.
For example, You must be between 25 and 30,
Well its my birthday in three months and then I will be 25 and gained my new magic abilities that only people between the ages of 25 and 30 are given.
Damn, I just turned 31 two days ago, don't look any different, don't feel any different, may be I smell different, our that's what it is thats whats putting people off.
What I'm trying to say is, I could be 40 but look 30, or 30 and look 40, who cares about age, I thought we were here to have fun.
If you must specify an age how about I would like to meet someone preferably between or around the ages 25 and 30.

Don't get so hung up about it and whether they want 25 - 30 or around 25 - 30 ish. It's no big deal. Who asks for birth certificates anyway? If you are roughly the right age and everything else they have asked for, go for it. However, if you are 40 and they ask for around 25, don't even go there!!

Not hung up, just an observation.
Being such an honest guy didn't even think about lying about your age, But yes of course you could do that.

i dont specify an age range.. i just say "older" , but that does not stop me getting loads of emails from 18yo's telling me they are EXACTLY what i am lookig for! rolleyes

Whilst we don't advertise, so therefore don't specify ages, we do try to keep to the over 35's as I am 41 and Jon is 44. Age within a year or two of this would not be a problem, but 10 years difference would make me feel uncomfortable.
Upward age range is not a problem as long as everything is in working order wink

However, we have had several young guys between the ages of 19 and 25 contact us asking for a meet, and although we have met one or two of the more exceptional ones, I find it hard to get past the fact that I'm old enough to be their mother :shock:
I know these guys often want someone to teach them, but I don't wish to become the next Mrs Robinson and prefer guys to know what it's all about and maybe teach me a thing or two :twisted:

I for one do not consider age a problem, I am not looking for any particular age group, as long as we are all consenting adult and looking for the same sort of fun, why should age be a matter. I am female aged 40 and my long term partner is male aged 24. That should open a wide spectrum of ages for ourselves

I spent a while chatting online with a young lady student last night.....
We discovered that I graduated the year before she was born :shock:

Well, I for one do not have an age limit. Just distance for me, cos I don't have a driving licence anymore! I'm 23 btw (but look 26 :cry: )

Personally age for us really doesnt matter,as long as everyone gets along as there has to be some attraction there too,but meeting a whole variety of people is what we want biggrin

We do specify an age range - and while it can be rationalised by having a daughter of 21, and not wanting to swing with people closer to her age than ours. The bottom line is, in an imprefect world you have to draw the line somwhere. There is not room in our lives for everybody that wants to be there. sad
