Whats your funniest / biggest mistake

Here's mine due to january being a quiet period for me at work (im self employed) I thought i'd send out some mail shots to prospective customers. Having obtained a list of 400 likely candidates I spent the last week in front of the computer designing a nice leaflet to post to them. Then off to the printers I went got them all printed off typed all the envelopes out myself
posted them after spending a small fortune on stamps sent them out.
I have sat here for the last 2 days waiting for the phone to ring and about this dinner time I thought surely someone must have rung by now but nothing not even a competitor ringing to check prices. Strange I thought to myself untill I did some checking up yep thats right dipstick me has had 400 leaflets printed off and I got my own phone number wrong redface

Please tell me someone can top that oooh I feel such a fool lol

well my biggest misstake was over last few days ive had about 400 people i dont know call me out of the blue & i didnt manage to get a date with any of them lol

Sat in a pub beer garden one day the missus spies a youth sitting on the wing of our little sportscar. She legs it across the lawn shouting "Get your arse off our fucking car" only to find the bewildered youth sitting calmly on the top of a concrete bollard casually minding his own business. Our party, as you can imagine, disowned her instantly.
To say she is a tad feisty is an understatement..!

oof i know what your sayin!!
i did that once but i blamed the printing company and got them re-printed fro free innocent

Gropping him within the first hour.

Oppppssss an expensive mistake or was it a Freudian slip ? Perhaps you want to change what you doing and haven't accepted it yet ? Just a thought ?

Reminds me of the twat that gave me his phone number in a pm after a brief chat in the chatroom and asked me to call him the next day.
Luckily for him I didn't, but later the following day, I received another pm telling me in a state of panic, not to call the number he had given me, as it was that of his wife and promptly gave me his correct number confused

Needless to say, I didn't call him on that one either rolleyes

Chatting to a couple using voice on computer. For some reason the whole screen froze. Rich and I then had a chat about whether or not we should meet them. {wont go into details for obvious reasons}
Then realised our mic had been on hands free the whole time. Ive never pulled a phone line out of its socket so fast in all my life.
Needless to say, we never met the couple.
Whats the expression? When caught digging hole, put the bloody shovel down. redface
