)I'm an English teacher. Sad I know: but the standard of grammar and punctuation in the ads and on the forum really gets to me. Can you believe that I'm actually in the remotest bit intereted in such things when I'm looking at people's profiles lololol. I need to relax and lighten up a bit I think. Any suggestions?

There's a bunch of us like that. If you can't express yourself, in your native language, then forget it.

Relax, many of us are equally picky about spelling & grammar
, & people who can't be bothered with either are often asked to make more of an effort.The exception to this is Debbiewebs, because if she suddenly started using perfect prose......... the world would stop turning, & the Forum would lose most of its interest!!!!!
Everyone else should buy a dictionary :shock: !

Absolutely! Dictionaries all round I say! There is evidence of sloppy spelling on this very thread! Oh no! There I go again! lol

I'm the regional GD for a high street banking chain.
Lol the GD stands for general dogsbody, i visit each one of the branches on a monthly basis, and carry out any blue-collarish task's, such as portering, deep cleaning
And my own personal favourite, asking homeless people to rise and shine,it's opening time.
