What's......The best Xmas pressie you ever received / gave ?
I must be one of the softest dads I know but all you lot better not tell 
My best Christmas presents are the ones the kids make. They can sit for ages and make cards and daft little things for me. But thats the point, the creativity, time and effort that they are willing to put in just to make us smile. Beats the shit out of anything I can think of. Maybe a new Mercedes would come close :lol:

Maybe a new Mercedes would come close :lol: I don't know about the best one, but the one that had most imapct on the rest of my life was my first electric guitar. It sent me on a 10 year journey of really pushing myself to become as good as possible.
I don't play much at all anymore, but I still write and make music with electronics and couldn't imagine not doing it anymore.
The xmas gift I had most fun giving would probably have been the Playstation I gave to Kitty before we were living together. It was right out of the blue and she loved it

As far as gift buying for xmas in our family goes, we're all too boring and usually just give people a list of things we'd like. So while we may get nice things they don't necessarily have any kind of emotional resonance which is what I'd need to class something as particularly good and memorable.
