Its lovely to hear that things are working out for you and leedslass kiss

and i wish her all the luck in the world for a speedy recovery.
I'm another one who thinks she may well have met her soulmate here and at a time when i was least expecting it and certainly wasnt looking for it (well not consciously anyway). I trust him implicitly, value his opinion, love spending time with him and miss him more each time we separate. He's been there in times when i've really needed a friend and for that i'll always love him. Time and ourselves will be the judge of where this journey takes us, but for now i'm happy enjoying the ride.

I think there are (at least) two different views on this.
Some people believe in soul mates (one perfect person for everyone) and I really hope that's true.

Another view, however, that there are no soul mates, just PLPs - Possible Life Partners. Meaning that there are hundreds of people in the world that it would be possible to fall in love with and have a great relationship with, if you have the inclination to work at it.

Moments of such sheer happiness are such tiny fragments ..... we should treasure them and hold them very close to our hearts... as happiness is a fragile thing.... blown around on the winds of life...

This was exactly the point in this thread.. thanks Titsalina.... The thread is not about leedslass and I but how people have found love/happiness as a result of this site or this lifestyle..... ours was simply an example of it.
There is someone for everyone on this big old ball of ours . some are lucky enough to find their 'life partner' early on.. and some aren't .... you just have to keep looking.

Just because soulmate implies uniqueness - doesn't mean there isn't another one out there for you. In fact, there is probably someone who is a closer fit to you out there - you just haven't met them, and you will be so focussed on the person that seemed so perfect for you, that you won't notice your soulmate heading your way. I really do belive that destiny ( or whatever ) has a controlling influence in life.

I first met my soul mate at the tender age of sixteen in a crowded bar, she was truely beutiful and perfect in every way. I was young and innocent back then and the lingering taste of her on my lips was as though I was kissing heaven itself. Since that day we have spent little time apart, we never argue or fight over the duvet, she never tires of me or seeks the comfort of another else where, she remains faithful, she listens attentively late into the long nights and never deserts me. It is true that she is terrible in bed and in the 11 years that i have known her has never cooked for me once but then again what do you expect?, she is a pint of lager. Hehe.

I met the girl of my dreams when i was 16, 22 years on and im still madly in love with her biggrin

and we have grown up together had our children together and i love her more now than ever b4!
I feel a very lucky man to have found her and to have been able to share so much with her.
If i spend the rest of my life with her then i shall be a happy man :D

Hi all,
Mike and I just had to ad to this posting.
All the best to you Wishmaster and Leedslass.
As a lot of you are aware Mike and I met on this site.
When I first started swinging I was that rarity of a single fem.
I was looking for fun with no strings.
I n that time I met so many really lovely genuine people as well as having a lot of fun along the way.
Some people who have known me all that time also know that I have had a lot to deal with both in life and health issues.
Then I met Mike.
At first he was just a "shag buddy" but very soon we both grew to be very close.
At first I didn't want to admit my feelings due to past relationships but I am so glad I did.
Mike is the best thing that has happened to me and he says the same about me.
10 days after we officially became an item I was in hospital for 6 weeks.
I know a lot of people would not have bothered but Mike came in every day without fail
He stayed there for hours and went through hell and back watching me learn to walk and finally get to where I am today.
It takes a very special person to do that.
We are still together and stronger than ever.
As a lot of you are aware Mike andI have a very chaotic life with many "bad" things happening regularly.
We are there for each other without conditions.
We have seen each others good and bad sides and we are still together.
We have been together for 15 months now and neither of us have been so happy.
We also feel that our friends on here have helped us through our tough times as well.
This is what makes this site so special to us.
We know we are soulmates, bestfriends as well as lovers.
