Where are people going on holiday this year?

Was hoping a thread like this would cheer everyone up if they are going away this year on their hols. lol
We have not arranged anything as yet, but we went to Kefalonia last year. We usually want to go somewhere which is hot and a nice beach. Where are others going and what do you look for in your summer hols?

I aint having a holiday this year. I am sacrificing my holiday to pay for my son to get a diving qualification.

I do too. He will benefit enormously from this course and if he loves it it will confirm his ambition of being a marine biologist.
He also works very hard and I want to thank him for being a flippin' amazing person. I can't afford to reward us both.
