Where are we all?

is a new service that allow people to put a marker in a map associated with their name and (if desired) a photo. It allows a picture of where members of a group, such as participants of a forum, are located.
<s>I've created a map for members of the Swinging Heaven Forum.</s>
Incidentally, if this is used by forum members and people would prefer it were controlled by a moderator I'm more than happy to pass the control over.
Edit: Map deleted as no one thought it was a good idea.

I think the Mods have enough to do without controlling a map of where we all live,
I for one would not be happy to give my location out, except for what is in my signature

The map is only accurate to a city, so not really any more than is already in you sig. Just shown on a map.

Not so happy with the idea myself and I think it will go down like a lump of lead.
Just the County might not be to bad
Just my opinion though.

I can see that you proposed this idea with the very best of intentions, Taysha, but it's true, many people here prefer not to give out details of their location.

No dont delete it just try and see if you can do it "counties" only.

I suspect it kinda depends on where you are, for me saying "London" dosn't give too much away, likewise for ppl in Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow etc. But if you live in Colchester, Epping or Durham it might be another matter!
