Im havin a real prob finding stockings that i feel comfortable wearing as i have quite large thighs. I dont like to feel my thighs bulging over the top of them and it certainly doesnt make me feel sexy!
If anybody can help me out will be very greatfull xxx

John Lewis do too... only just make sure you know how expensive before you get to the counter so that when they ring up 21 quid for one pair of stockings you don't nearly die of heart failure!
Try stockings HQ. I have triangular shaped legs and they have some fab stockings on there. Their stockings are mosty the traditional nylon "non stretch" and are "volumetric" so if you have long slim legs they come high up the thighs but if you're legs are shorter and wider they wont come up to high.
I have a 10.5 or an 11 as my feet are broad, and Im 5 ft 4 inches tall and I find that the Gios especially come very high up my thigh.
Every now and again stockings hq have seconds on sale at a fraction of the price. Obviously they arent perfect but they are a very good way of finding a make you like at a good price, for example Gios are usually about £14 a pair but their seconds are about £5 so an absolute bargain.
Have a look and see how you get on. There is a forum and gallery too and if i find a "larger" woman on there wearing a pair of stockings I like I email them and be cheeky asking where they got them from! Ive never had anyboy call me a cheeky mare or be anything less than helpful.

I wear DIM Ups which I buy from french supermarkets, they go up to size 4 (shoe size 41) They have a very deep sticky band at the top so no overflow

Im 5ft8" so quite tall also, which doesnt really help, i have in the past bought tall/fuller figure, but i dont think they cater for both at the same time! lol

Strange ... I love M&S hold-ups and didn't think they were too expensive at I find the nice deep lace band with stay-put silicon makes them comfy to wear all night. I've bought XL but found they come up to my groin (I'm short and a size 24)and consequently found I can get away with a L. I think the only thing to do is to try a few different ones as people are definitely having a variety of experiences.

isnt it strange how things vary on different people
im short (5ft 5in at most) and fat (size 18 - 20) and i find marks and sparks fit well, if anything they are to long for me !
altho to be fair its probably 3 years since i bought any !

I can recommend the levee ones, got them from a seller on ebay for about £7, I've got very large thighs and these stockings can be had in sizes to fit up to about a dress size of 30/32 so plenty big enough for most folks (and me :twisted: )

You need to get yourselves a good suspender belt ladies with at least 6 straps on but if you have larger thighs like me I would recommend 8. They keep your seams in line beautifully and will stop the roll! Dont worry about the wrinkly ankles, I have it on good authority from an avid stocking fan (or two) that this is indeed very sexy!
Find some stockings you like and enjoy, its sooo much nicer than wearing tights!
