Where did you meet?

I was listening to the radio today and they were running through good and bad places to go on a first date. I think the general concensus for a good date was anywhere with alcahol and bad places included a funeral, their parents' house and a wildlife centre.
Where did you meet your partner? Mine have been quite borring, the usual - college, at parties, on holiday. (plus I could use some pointers on where to hang out biggrin

)

I once dated a guy who used to drive past me every morning as I waited at the busstop to go to work...
..he was handsome and drove a flash car so after much giving of the rather flirtatious eye (particularly on the mornings when he had to stop 'cos of the traffic lights) he stopped one day and asked me out!!
I was young and foolish and agreed - we had fun, it didn't last but it makes a good story and raises a smile every time I go past the busstop years later!!

Currently single but I met my last two boyfriends through this site.
One as a meet that developed into something more. the other was developing online but not until we met at a Munch did we realise our true feelings.
I suspect I'll meet my next partner in a nursing home. rolleyes

Ooo Should I tell??
Well its no secret with the family so why not.. We actually met in bed.. We were young I was with another girl and just moved into a flat she had.. I came back from the pub one night finding my prior partner had gone to bed.. Me thinking manly thoughts tried it on not knowing she had had her friend over to stay as she had split from her boyfriend.. when she said to me in that womanly way 'Bog Off-If you think you would have any luck with Julie try it' with a big huff lol... Well I did and the rest is history lol, I moved out the next morning to be with her and we have been together 27 years so far..
not sure what catagory that one falls in lol???

We met in 2nd year of senior school. Mr S was the new boy in my class. One look at him and I knew he was the one. We got married when we were 19 with alot of people saying it wouldn't last a year. 15 years on, a big :2fingers: to them.
