Where has all the happiness gone?
Ok?
Who took it?
I don't think it's my perception, but the forum (not just the Cafe) seems to be filled with rolleyes mad sad more  and a few confused thrown in for good measure.
So this will be a personal grudge, chips on shoulder, sly dig, sarcastic comment or general grumpyness free zone!
Anyway.. I suppose I better ask a question or summint. What does happiness mean to you? What simple things make you feel good?
Me? The sounds of Sparrows chirping makes me smile. Weird but true! lol Finches too.
A clear blue sky, early on a summers morning makes me feel very good too!
Morning Miss wink
Aggression, anger and bitterness are becoming more and more frequent in here and it was starting to affect me also. Nice to see you posting this you little ray of sunshine you
Happiness to me is my world as it is right now. It cannot get any better (well maybe a little extra money but that's material lol ) I'm happy with my family we are all fit and healthy, my studies are going well, my relationship is secure and yes the sun is shining.
What more could anyone want?
I'm afraid its been browbeaten out of some of us

:therethere: Hope that helps a little hunni
Morning all biggrin
Happiness to me is waking up with the sun shining, the birds singing in the garden and the postie's lost all my bills :D
Having someone say lovely things to you no matter how small and insignificant it may sound to them.
:D

I'm predicatble, happiness lies in my kids. When they laugh, I laugh, when they are having fun watching Top Gear making stupidly extended cars and twin 1 almost wets himself laughing, I do the same.
When twin 2 smiled at me this morning wanting a biscuit with his antibiotics, I smiled too redface
My happiness also comes when Ian has a good day at work or eldest child decides he wants to sit and have a decent discussion with me.
Munches, well, its no secret that they cause me happiness :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
Passing uni assignments, even badly :lol2:
Having a thread running about me flirting, that makes me laugh :lol2:

Maybe for some but if I can't have fun online, then I don't log on dunno
If I can't have fun off line then I text/email/phone someone that I know will make me smile, a friend that I can rely on (or Ian)

...you little ray of sunshine you...

:thrilled:
Although I love reading and music etc I find that nature makes me happiest of all.
Who can fail to feel uplifted when walking in the Brecon Beacons or even the local park on a spring day.
I live near some woods, and I love cycling there on my own, my rucksack containing my camera, some water and a snack or two and just spending the afternoon taking pictures of wildlife/flowers and generally wandering about. I  it.
Easily pleased, me. lol
Well I feel happy today why
I have three beautiful children
A wonderful partner
An admirer redface
And the suns shining

It would be the park for us, often on a Sunday afternoon. A couple of balls to kick or throw about between us while we walk round the park. Sometimes joined by my parents. The kids love family time biggrin

That's lovely. Although we don't have any children Mrs Kiss and I enjoy 'family time' with her Nephew (he calls us both Aunty :inlovesmile he's an only child and growing up way too quickly!
He stays some weekends and we go for a kick about or bowling etc and have such a great time. It makes us both very broody but we quite enjoy delivering him back to his parents when the weekend is over. It's too much like hard bloody work! lol
I'll be getting my bike back into shape soon I think then I can go for a ride round somewhere....
Maybe over the chase or somewhere similar....
Thats quite nice to do..
Moan free zone? well thats a good idea!
Everyone seems to be mentioning how happy their children make them, well i dont have any of those so i'm just going to say that i have some awesome friends. One of them is on the other side of the world but if i have the money, come the summer im going to be spending the summer with her (in bed). Should be a good time biggrin
i admit to not posting as much cos i just cant be bothered with a lot of the threads that are there
what makes me smile
the sound of a blackbird singing away
driving back over the moors the sun blazing windows down and music blasting
special time with family and friends

Not been so smiley myself lately  but I had a spurt of writing last night. Chapter 2 of my great british novel is well under way lol
I agree there has been far too much moaning, even I have been doing it. To bring some fresh Spring air to the forum I have started a thread all about exercise with the title:
Does exercise make you a better lover / swinger / shagger?

I would love someone to send me a sexy pm but sadly the person I have in mind doesn't read the forum.
Anyway, I'm not flirting so I shouldn't comment :smug:
I'm happy most of the time, most of the day, most of the week and most of the month. My eternal optimism makes me a failed pessimist and can be quite annoying to even me.
Right now happiness is all around me and coming at me from men, friends, family, flowers, job, colleagues, challenges and weekends. I have nothing I need and only have things to give. It's been a haul to get to this privileged position in life and I am savouring every single moment.
Memories bring happiness too, as well as anticipations. Memories of friends I have made on this site and who continue as friends whether 150 miles away (Fred, Wilma) or are further than that away physically. Friends who would offer up their last penny if needed and friends whom I could phone at m. if needed.
Family - how could I manage if I were alone? Not just one supportive man in my life but a few, dotted around the different areas of my life. My intimate life has the best, my work life has the best and my social life has the best.
Moan??? No need.
Happiness, happiness
the greatest gift that I possess
I thank the lord that I've been blessed
with more than my share of happiness

And if you know who sang that then keep it to yourself, no need to broadcast it!!
lol

I really wanna put something down that makes me happy but finding it hard to think of at the mo sorry!! will keep thinking lol

Strangely enough - I had one of the most enjoyable weekends I've had for a long time on the forums this week. (P'raps that's why?? redface )
It seems to have gone very flat since then though.
But I really did have a good time......
