Where have all the oldies but goodies gone

This is not a whinge! Honest!!

Really! 

In my 50s with totally realistic expectations and reaching out to people in my appropriate age group but I just can't find anybody on this huge and wonderful site that seems so full of possibilities! Fair enough, that's life but..

There seem to be a lot of guys showing off picutures of women (who may or may not be their Mrs) who then after LOTS of messages have been exchanged say she doesn't know yet/ it'll be a surprise??!! 

I think Brad Pitt is a surprise lol not me. I'm just a normal sex loving guy not a sex God but ok-ish.

I suppose I am just saying I wish people would play fair. If you're a married guy with fantasies that's fine but don't dupe people and get genuine people's  hopes up?

It's nothing unforgivable, just a bit irksome! 

I'm still here. Somedays I wonder why, but I have had a lot of fun because of this site over the years. I did prefer it when it was a small, free and almost unknown site though. 

You plight is pretty much my plight too. We get called time wasters but couples ( if they even are couples) can be as bad for that!  

we're still here, minidave and katniss, but we are now together for the last three years!! (that went quick) - i know what you mean, lots of messages and then they turn out not to be what they say xx Keep on trucking, it might work out, who knows

I find that most people of similar age are all looking for younger, so sod it found myself on scrap heap lol

Kids! Honestly! Well as I always said, the Buddha didn't reach Nirvana by worrying about not getting there ;) Lots of fun still to be had via SH so just keep on keeping on and remember tough times don't last, tough (but nice) people do 

Interesting post, well i am married on here and quite open about that and not trying to "dupe" any one...whats the point?....i have my own reasons for being here and there not to fulfill fantasies ......walk a mile in my shoes...etc...i enjoy the chat rooms...when there going well..and so far have found most on here fair and non judgemental ...which is nice...unlike another well known site i was on where married guys were crucified and vilified with "gusto"....got to a point where i would carry my own hammer and nails......saved time!!.....so if your struggling...then i have no real chance what so ever......but i continue to log on while it still raises a smile....and mean no harm or offence to anyone....
