Long way to go for a drink as well lol Problem is I drink my Vodka straight but the wife likes to mix hers and the Russians see that as an insult  On the Cultural side we have tickets to the Bolshoi Ballet which start at 75 quid a ticket. Oh well my tickets for Lazio v AC Milan cost me more so she is getting her own back
Othe places we would like to go are India as I am into eastern religion. The Phillipines as I work with loads of them and they are the most nicest people you could meet.
We, my wife lol would like to go to Russia she reads loads of books and thinks it would b all nice and historical lol Probably would b but think she would get a bit of a shock not like Daniel Steel books lol
Going 2 russia and the eastern european countries would b an eye opener and a very good holiday with a lot of interesting things 2 see and do wink

I don't get the English fascination with Florida at all..
I am taking a friend thru Europe during the summer, but if I really could go where I wanted and I had the money: sailing around French Polynesia, Micronesia etc... on my own.
Florida, its warm and the people talk English lol well most of them wink and we like the american way of life! Look 4ward just 2 b behind the wheel of a car with radio on and soaking up all the different ways and customs of Florida life

so if your fat, your a minger, drat i must be a minger,
weres my brown paper bag biggrin
If I could go anywhere I would go on a trip around the USA, taking in New York, Charleston, Savannah, Florida, The Keys, LA, San Fran, Vegas and Niagara Falls....but that would be quite expensive....!! LoL...but it's my dream holiday....
The English fascination with the Florida thing is simple, it' lets you be a big kid again. That's why I'd go tomorrow. Love to work out there as well.
So that's Florida. I'd also love to try/move to New Zealand. The place looks just amazing.
Also like to head to Oz to see my best mate who went out there last year and is doing really well (lucky bugger).
The Dominican Republic as Sunlovers keep telling us how great the place is, so we'd like to see for ourselves.
And finally Las Vegas as we have friends out there as well. They came back for a visit last year and I kept trying to drop subtle hints that I'd like to work in their buisness as they were having problems with employees at the time. Never bloody picked up on it though.
TBH the way I feel at the moment I'd probably settle for anywhere that wasn't the UK.
well mr. ocky and I might be back in New York as early as next spring so if any of you still want to try NY we'll be there to help.
...as for Florida... that's where the american elderly go to live out their remaining years.
Would be Vegas for me ... we went last year for a week and are desperate to go back .. if we hadn't got kids then we'd move out there like a shot.
We're trying to save for the next trip .... road trip from Vegas to San Diego, then the LA briefly, upto San Francisco and back to Vegas.
Oh well hopefully next year biggrin

Would you go to Amsterdam for the art and tulips lol Prefer Denmark to Sweden and yes Iceland is on my list.
Off on a Caribbean Cruise next March, cant wait wink
Bahamas & Mexico prob the 2 best places I've been lol
Southern Ireland for me, ring of kerry, caravan out somewhere, and peace :color:
Sometime after a new Terry Pratchett book and maybe Harry Potter as well. Feet up and read, no TV, no PC, gas cooker and not much else. Make your own entertainment when the sun goes down or take in the live music in the local bar.
I'd go to the greatest city there is, NYC.
Been there a few times before, and I never tire of what's available. Since this is theoretical it would be good to go back with some money this time, lol.
Either that or go from coast to coast across Canada, soaking up the scenery and friendly folk, as well as the huge variety of wildlife they have there.
Mr and Ms Ocky, I ain't never been to a club in NYC before, what're they like?

Excellent choice seagull...I lived in Denmark for several years, and will be back to visit (as I do quite often) later this summer.
Cayman islands :bounce:
Sun, crystal oceans, beach bars, all night beach parties, mmmmmmmmmm if u close your eyes you could almost be there.
Island hopping in a luxury cruiser, Marlin fishing, Bonfires on the beach, sand under your …. rolleyes
oh well, no pain no gain

lol umm i think theres other reasons to go to amsterdam - personally, id be going mainly to have a damn good smoke! lol
Viva Las Vegas for me. Went there 6 years ago and would love to back one day as it is by far the most exciting lively place I`ve been to.
Iceland or Japan. Polar opposites in terms of how they relate to popculture, with Iceland being the moon on Earth, and just as sparsly populated, and Japan being the most commercialised nation on the planet. Joy.
i would go to the dominican republic as my mum and dad have been there twice and they went paradise island had some photo's taken it looked like heaven......or id go spain to see my brother depends how much money your prepared to let me have lol
louxxxx
If I could go anywhere right now it would be to Austria this weekend for the final of the Ice Hockey World Championships on Sunday. After that I'd love a couple of weeks of sunshine, not fussy where as long as it's hot and no more than a five hour flight from the UK.
I've just come back from 3 weeks in Thailand, and can't wait to get back.
Bangkok, is Ok, and for sex and nightlife, try Patpong
Pattaya, 2 hours in a taxi South of Bangkok (£20) for incredible women, and sex.
Koh Ghang Island, again South of Pattaya, beautiful, and a real Honeymoon sort of place, Bungalows on the beach, dining under the stars, and you won't believe how cheap it was £18 per night B/B for 2 people, in a 4* Hotel.
I'm going back for Christmas and New Year.
