Why don't you sit down with your boss and ask him/her what they're after with this, what angle they want, any ideas they'd like to see you incorporate into your design.
Depending on your boss (they may just be horrible), he/she will hopefully give you an idea of what they're after and by asking for their input your massaging their ego a bit!

ooh. sorry!!
well, it's hard to have a sit down with my boss, cos she's back in new york (I work v. looong distance) and even still she's not v. articulate and she's kinda fickle. For months I was her golden girl, but one mistake and she turns on you..
also has a habit of blaming me for her mistakes. I really should look for employment over here... but aren't all corporate offices pretty much all the same?

now theres a line U2 could use in a song lyric. your a genuis john. sara stick with john he has all the answers wink
Rache, I'm pretty sure they have already used it - "Acrobat" from "Actung Baby", if memory serves.
And if you are still stressed out Ocky, get Mr Ocky to stop whinging 'bout shoes ( he ain't gonna win - and he knows it ) and give you a good aromatherapy massage.
Ah well Ocky, one of the laws of offices is the higher up you go, the less you know about what actually goes on(and in some cases, the lower your IQ gets).
You should get some work over here, at least you've got Industrial tribunarals to fall back on lol
And I agree with smokerjim, get Mr Ocky to give you a nice massage, or give him one before you tell him you've spent your monthly budget on shoes

, despite his dislike for my shoe fetish (as in buying them, not masturbating with tme) which I feel is the only really girly thing about me. he was as supportive as one could be. He's pretty good at dealing with my madness, most of the time. I can be a handful...
yes U2 did use it in a song, xcept they sing it as "Don't let the bastards Grind you down" which I feel is more visceral than "get" you down.
as for finding work over here: anyone in need of a short, female graphic designer??? I also paint houses.
xxx ms. ocky --> recovering from loss of inspiration...

Damn.
Just posted a job ad for a tall, female graphic designer.
Ho hum.
Missed this thread earlier when it started - have been doing a bit of reading on the creative process for some of my own projects - there's quite a bit of stuff available on it that you can apply to any sort of problem solving. Don't want to get too serious on here but PM me if anyone wants to chat about it please. biggrin
Ockysweeties - really weird - that song was just going thru my head as I came across your signature - lovely song / album / movie
:smile2:
am looking for a graphic designer coincidentally but it's just a small one off job so will prob get someone up here - good luck tho.
