I just popped into the petrol station for some stuff and when I came out of the shop there was a big shiny red fire engine filling up at the pumps.
It looked particularly shiny, so I looked at the number plate.....OOOOOO a new one !!
But then my gaze was drawn to the big letters emblazonned across the front
"SCANIA" !!! WTF!! what happened to Dennis ???
Is this the end of an era ??

Don't start me off on what happened to traditional British vehicles - the loss is just too upsetting :!:
Plim
Leyland

Bloody typical blokes!!! Worrying about the replacement of Dennis with Scania...
What about the replacement of those sexy shiny buttons with those luminous jackets.....
Its just not fair. I'm a fire warden at work and I didn't see a bloody single fireman in my training.....thats just shite!

whats dennis confused: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?:

The traditional make for fire-engines - usually populated by hunky firemen biggrin:D:D:D
On a side note - a few years ago the Derby firemen were canvassing the city streets about a pay-rise, new roof on the fire-station or a fridge in the staff-room or something (I forget). Anyway - my sis and I found reasons to go into town every day over that week and get into very sympathetic conversations with various prime examples of the fire-fighting profession about whatever it was. rotflmao :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
