If at home and need some space its my bed!
But I prefer to get out and chill. It takes 5 mins to drive to the beach and I love it even its blowing a gale and raining!
Or I go a bit further to Peak Hill which overlooks Sidmouth and beyond. Park up and just take in the view alone with my thoughts.

My back garden. It's almost isolated. Got a table and chair there. A bramble bush nearly 15' high shields me to the front. A field side hedge shields me from behind.
A great place for reading. Or sitting quietly whilst the grass grows by itself. A great place to be naked. Of late an old Robin joins me when I'm out there. I'm always pleased to see him and greet him with, "Hello mate".
The best place i find for a quiet place .is inside my own head..
Just slowly shut the outside world out and slowly sink into a quiet place inside myself..
The bath
The greenhouse
The car
Bed
I sit up here most evenings and take in the sunsets, theres hardly a day goes by where the light doesn't throw a whole new aspect on the place. I just wish my photographic skills were better.
Portsdown Hill!
Blimey.
I know that from my nipperdom.
It is indeed lovely up there.
in the same area(ish) just down the road.. Langstone... the shore twixt Havant and Hayling Island is one of my favourite places. Mainly for reasons of childhood memory again, though if I were down there enough... I would definately spend time walking along that shorline... maybe steal a dog for company.
as for now... nowhere really. Though I do really enjoy coming across an unexpected moment or two of tranquility in the metropolis. Sudden calm from from the blue. In the most unexpected, an unreatable places too.
A movable feast

I have two spaces that I love to be on my own and chill - one is my back room where I do my hobby, its relaxing to me. Other is a little place by the river that looks directly to the Bristol's Suspension Bridge - few people know of it as its hidden from view of passers by and traffic, go as and when the need takes me.
Titerstone Clee Hill in Shropshire.
I'm a licensed radio ham. No really.... honest.
Anyway up there the radio signals are pretty good, the view is amazing.
There arn't many places where you can sit in your car, and look down on light aeroplanes flying in the valley.
If I could live on the top, I would.
The beach at sunrise. Nothing to hear but the waves, the birds and your own thoughts
home, home is my haven, lock the door, shut the blinds, close out the world then its just me and the cats.
i love coming home
