Hmmm well Inbetweeners vs Skins series 1 & 2 is very tough but I go with Skins. Inbetweeners vs Skins series 3 I go with Inbetweeners, skins 3 has moved into the ridiculous and as others have said the characters have lost appeal. Kind of hard to judge though as Inbetweeners is far more of a comedy than Skins is. Inbetweeners does not deal with harder issues like Skins does or if it does it does it in a very comical way.
Shameless, just as the title. Call me too serious but people like that exist in our country, I dont think thats particularly funny or watchable. In Skins and Inbetweeners they can at least get away with it being kids. Even with that said Skins is a very bad example of Teenage behavior for younger children.
So currently Inbetweeners.

tweeky. i am told by my 16 year old daughter that skins is very far fetched. all her friends watch it and think its hysterical. my worry is that she is in a grammar school full of very bright and driven kids. yes they are teenagers and all that comes with that but they are not as hedonistic as the skins lot. so maybe skins is more realistic for the other end of the teenage spectrum?
I would imagine that for teenagers growing up on the larger more run down council estates of Britain the sex and drug world of Skins is not a million miles away from the truth. I doubt though that its as glamorous.
