Well we live in Oldham(we being myself and red_391)...according to the routefinder it's almost 14 miles from here to there so not a mega distance.
BTW...is there a prize(or a forfeit) for being the closest??

Ok - due to unprecedented demand,far surpassing the interest in any previous munch held in Gatley,the December 25th Gatley Micro-Munch is now being held at The Gatley to Sue the barmaid for fixing this venue for us.

In the light of recent press snooping I have to pass on the need for utmost discretion concerning the December 25th Gatley Micro-Munch at The Gatley no circumstances must the press get wind of the date and location of this Munch.
Most importantly - some of you will know that we have,ahem,some celebrities the night they just want to enjoy themselves like normal people do at Munches.
We don't want to draw attention to the media that Trinny and Susannah,Linda Barker,Stephen Gately and a name too BIG for me to even dare mention EVEN TO MYSELF will be coming.
As well as the aforementioned in this thread kind offer of Trinny and Susannah to show everybody "What Not to Wear" - any clothes at all in this case - we have also had an offer from Stephen to perform an exclusive to the Munch medly from "Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat".This will certainly get everybodys Munch juices flowing will it not?

Whilst I don't live anywhere near stockport - I did find your comment funny about never knowing if you are talking to someone from the site. I recently began chatting to a guy on SH and after about half an hour, found out he was in the next street. :shock:
He goes drinking with one of my oldest friends brothers (in my local) and knows so many people that I have known for donkey's years, who all know my family very well. We have even been to some of the same birthday/wedding parties.
Finding people on your doorstep can either be a blessing or a complete b**tard. I went through a full range of emotions that day I can tell you :shock:
