I go to clubs often...... there's all shapes, sizes and ages there usually...... I guess it depends on what you mean by "not standard build"? If you have three heads and seven pairs of legs you might get a few funny looks, but other than that, people are generally open-minded regarding size.

I'm fairly new to the scene also, went to some good fetish clubs here in London initially but have been to a few Swingers clubs since - I'm of the opinion that they overlap to a degree as I've seen some familiar faces at both.
Still working out the ropes but it's fair to say that the general attitude is quite good and people seem to be friendly and non-judgemental about size/looks etc so I'd say don't worry.

i don't think there is a general attitude..... i go to swinging clubs in the north-east and the one thing i have found is that everyone is different and personality means as much to people as looks.....
only two pieces of advice i would give is... always be 110% sure of anything you want to do and be yourselves........

We've been to a few in our time - started going to one about once a month for a while where we used to live.
They are usually pretty friendly, no pressure, and the hosts make you feel welcome ad introduce you to some people.
You talk downstairs, drink, get to know each other.
Upstairs are the rooms. Most have a Couples Only room, some clubs also do a couples only night.
If you like to watch and perform, that's a good way to start, and join in with what you feel like. If you go a few times, you'll get to "know" some of the regulars.
We're gonna check out the ones in Bristol, so if anyone has any experience or reccomendations, we'd like to hear them.

We used to go to Xtasia in Birmingham quite a bit, Nat likes the atmos as it's very night clubby rather than "sauna" type. She likes to feel glam when "playing" and doesn't apreciate having to remove all her kit in exhange for a towell when she's spent ages getting ready to go out. Since we moved to Chester its a bit further to go there so we haven't been for a while.

Try Partners in Bury near Manchester. It doesn't exactly have a "night club" feel but it is big. The sauna bit is downstairs and the upstairs has all sorts of things to play with. You can go all glammed up (as lots of people do), you don't have to take your kit off if you don't want to :lol: :lol: :lol:
