The first time I met anyone from here? Great. There were about 20 of us in a pub in Croydon. We got pissed, went bowling, ate Chinese (food that is, not people). Top day out. :thumbup:
Of course, if you're in a hurry and you're meeting someone you don't know at all, haven't spoken to at length either online or on the phone, then the question equally applies; why should they trust you? :)

Back to ya question, there is no easy way to tell the gen people from the photo ads IMO, but you will find a lot of the people who post a lot on the forum are genuine :thumbup:
Plus if you are serious about swinging and stick around, you will get to go to munches and meet lots of real people

the only way i have found to find out if someone is who they say they are is by meeting them in a public area, if there not quite the person the described then you can always
Webcam is a good way also if you just need to see that there the person that was on that picture you got sent!

I was chatting online to someone I met at a munch... I had given them my messenger addy at the munch, so I was slightly gobsmacked when they asked if they could see me on cam to prove that I was really me.

Well i suppose even though they had met you at a munch and you had given them your id they just wanted to make sure that the id you gave them was realy yours before they started talking about something that could end up rather embarrassing if they had got the wrong id
