I've been trogging along in my usual unobservant way, redface

ops: and quite content to boot, :P biggrin

but I noticed that recently loads of people who should know better have been having a whinge, about the site, the posts, the newbies, the old bat next door, in short, about just about everything. :huh:
I'm referring to some of the long standing members here (no names, no pack drill). rolleyes

I don't want this to become another whinge thread so don't even think about going there, ok? loon

However.....................and this is a BIG 'however'....................there may be a sinister explanation. :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock:

I reckon it's old lead water pipes that are poisioning them! :P

it's easy to be sarcastic on the net as you don't have to face the person that your talking to.
As a newbie I posted a new thread. and got a sarcastic reply. I also noticed that the same person had been sarcastic to someone else. but as soon as I noted it in a reply thread the guy was very fast to say soory and just one of those evenings etc.
I think you're a great bunch and compared to other foruns you're not at all bad. If anything you're one of the most positive feeling bunch i've come across. OK it's the same names posting but at least you all are happy to have a go at each other and laugh after.
Difficult clique to break into but I undersatnd why and am trying......(ok ok very trying) as are others. I guess this is why munchies are so important.

I must admit I am as equally sarcastic/cheeky face to face as in here.

Although i have only been a member here for a few weeks. I have been a member
on other types of forums for many years.
When you have seen the same kind of post many many times it becomes boring
and prehaps people get fed up with it.
When i came here, the replies were not too friendly but i was geniuine and stuck
around.
people who want to really get involved will see why the regulars are cagy and
wait to be accepted.
there are too many time-wasters and things like that and geniuine swingers
probably get fed up and then take the mickey.

Which one? There's rumoured to be several around here, but I've not found them, just some people that get along better than others, there are some that I think, "Bloody hell, they've only been here 2 months, seems like they've been her much longer than that." meat2pleaseu for instance.
Post like you've been here for ever and people will think you have been, but expect to have the piss taken out of you!
