put their xmas decs up? or am I the last one? confused:
No decs up here (still in the cupboard) no cards written out, hardly any xmas prezzie shopping done and definately no clue what is happening xmas day
Organised dunno - me? hell no - chaos and every year is the bloody same.
Skint till friday too so do I make a last minute mad dash to the shops or what? bolt
Funny though the kids haven't said anything about the tree not being up, it's their school xmas parties tomorrow and I found out last night at 9pm I'm expected to make cheese sandwiches for 30 kids rolleyes
urm
slides hand up
me either
but i will do on thursday
havent bought one presant yet either
yikes
but i did buy lotsa booze
I have put no decorations up.
Unless there's a severe breakdown in the fabric of the universe and space-time and I wake up tomorrow morning to find I'm happily married and have the standard 2.3 kids then I may have to rush out and get some to put up.
As nice as that may be I hope it doesn't happen because that would mean I'd have to do xmas shopping and it's getting a bit late (chaotic) for that now.

lol glad I'm not the only one, wish I'd thought about the booze thing though!
Lil_Bunny, I'm in the same boat.
No cards written, no gifts bought. Even had my mate phone me to ask when I'm dropping her kid's pressies round. Payday is only on Monday so it's the last minute dash for me. The tree only goes up on xmas eve and it's down again on boxing day. Not sure what I'm doing on xmas day either as the kid's will be with their dad. School xmas parties are tomorrow, but mine are home sick, so cancels that out.
Oh well, we'll see what happens this week. If all goes well I could be spending some time with a very sexy someone  so perhaps not a total wash-out after all

good luck Libra-Love
I think my kids are going away for a few days around xmas so it'll peace and quiet here for me (hopefully I'll get enough money for xmas to tax the car at the end of the month too or I'm fooked lol)
Did have an invite to go stay with a friend but who the hell wants to come look after all my pets when it's freezing cold out and xmas so that I can have a few days away?
I've done most of my cards and got most of the presents, but decorations - no way! I'll probably put them up the weekend but even that's a bit early for me. I can remember years when I was a boy when we used to put them up on Christmas eve...
Mind you, my "Christmas decorations" are just a cheap fibre-optic tree and maybe a bit of tinsel. sad
Not a card or present bought let alone wrapped .. tree & few decs up on xmas eve and then they'll be down the day after boxing day!
Not a big one for xmas ... hate it more and more each year and can't for the life of me see why a two day festival preparation has to last for 2 months dunno
Nope nothing here either.
We normally put the tree.........and only a tree, up on the 21st December, which is our anniversary, (14yrs this year), however that day is my Father-in-laws Funeral, so I will be with my partner and his family from Monday till Wed/Thurs next week in Basingstoke, (we live in Cardiff).
Have sent xmas cards to family, as well as the numerous anniversary and birthday cards that need sending for December as well. With ref to prezzies, nope nothing done at all, well no need, so we don't waste money on buying each other cr*p we don't really want or need, non of us exchange prezzies at all. Just get something for my two Neices but this year have just given them money.
So that's it really...........xmas is going to be a strange one this year.
M xx
Not a hint of christmas here at all.
Tree and decs are in a cupboard somewhere.
A few pressies bought but thrown in a cupboard and not wrapped, no cards written yet.
Just want to crawl under a rock until it's all over and the feeling gets stronger every year.
Payday isn't until xmas eve. Working on xmas eve too, so not much i can do about it really.
Bah humbug evil
G x
Ive not got anything up either
None up with me either!
No cards done, no pressies bought either but i have stocked with loads of booze!!!
I do like the smell of a good fresh xmas tree in the home. These days though I don't think I can justify chopping the poor bastards down for my own light entertainment. smile
Even though I don't do xmas I always use it as an excuse to take a couple of weeks off, which I'll be doing from the Monday immediately after xmas day.
Might put the tree up this weekend.
Might.

(Pretend, just for a moment, that I'm unbelievably stupid. It should be very easy to do)
What's that then? (beyond the obvious that even a simpleton like me would know).

You're saying that knowing full well that I, as a guy and a single one at that, has absolutely no clue what you're on about!
Ylang whatnow?!
I haven't yet, but that's due to circumstances at home, neither myself or my dad feel like putting anything up this time..... Not being miserable, just that times have been better that's all. Hopefully next year will be better.

Look just go into the health shop and ask for pine essential oil and an oil burner (or aroma stone) .. add water, two drops of oil and a candle underneath .... I guarantee the tree smell....
If you really want a xmassy smell ..... then cedarwood, orange and clove oils ............. mmmmmmmm

Mind you, B&Q have a really good offer on on xmas trees at the mo so you'll prolly find it cheaper just buying a new tree

Wow, there's a shop I can buy health in! Why was I not informed?!
Seriously though, thanks for the info. If Dundee has such a thing as a health shop then I may have a look. I might get lucky, it's a bit banjo country around here...

Err. yeah, but, err, you can buy that friendly bacteria stuff in a supermarket, whereas we're now talking about much more specialised girlie stuff smile
