That doesn't really come into it - we are stereotyped quite rightly in my opinion - far too many blokes out there who are pushy expect a quick shag and ignore peples requests, therefore wating time all round.
Couples who enter into swinging have obviously talked long and hard (excuse the pun) about it and have a specific set of "wants" - why chance your arm?

Thats fair enough Andy, but when a single guy makes a genuine, polite response, I don't think its appropriate for someone to go off on one, and belittle the single guy

To be totally honest i do find single guys on here a bit of a pain so i do not meet single men unless i have met them at a munch/party/club etc first, saying that all i have met have been really nice guys, maybe cause i only meet men i know and have met socially first i don't know, but just trying 2 say there are some really nice single guys out there u just have to look about 4 them

i agree that some singles can be pushy, but looking at a lot of the threads on SH, most seem to be polite, and nice

Ok then would you be polite to someone if you advertised to buy a lawnmower, but someone contacted you to try and sell you a hedgetrimmer? But it wasn't just one person it was loads and loads of people? Then they wouldn't leave you alone?
p.s I do agree there are a lot of nice single guys out there that do get tarred with the same brush, but i am sure you can understand why.

when i use to be on another site i had a huge profile on there. and all 99.9% of the guys never bloody read it.
my saying back then was is it true monkeys cant read profiles
we get taught to read from an early age, so why do so many never bother baffles my mind at times, actually thinking about it, its not that hard to do.

I don't know about other single males out there, though there are some idiots who give us all a bad name (you know who you are, you respond to ads without thinking about what the lady or couple are actually after and give us a bad name in clubs by being too puashy etc); but personally I only respond to ads where I think I might be what the advertiser(s) are looking for and where I think they might be the kind of person or people I'm looking for. To do anything else simply doesn't make sense as people know what they want and are not likely to change their minds.

Its taken me along time to build up my own reputation on SH, ok so im a tart and everyone knows it, but saying that im sweet, kind and polite and If i arrange a meet i always turn up and yes i do read the adds thoroughly.
There are alot of us (single males) on SH, more than any other demographic so we have the hardest time of it . Then comes all the single male bashing, and all that we (the good guys) have worked so hard to achieve goes out the window. Simply because, posts like this get read by by others and us good guys get verbally spanked as much as the ones who cause this bad feeling in the first place and note is taken by newbies to the forum and they are put off from day 1. :cry:
Its a shame that this topic seems to come up once every 2 months or so, and it is solely due to the behaviour of our members. There is another post in the forum from a single male asking "why do i have no luck with the photo adds" this is one of the reasons, couples and ladies are just pissed off by the bad behaviour of so many guys.
Yes, in some respects i agree with CandA, if the guys acted correctly and showed some manners then things maybe more pleasant all round.
So to ALL the guys who use this site and may read this, please lets help improve our tarnished image.
