I have again tonight been approached by someone who, when I have pointed out that I am part of a couple, have then proceeded to try and get me to meet them alone!! mad

Why do people do that??.... I have had both couples and single guys do it to me over the 2 years that we have been swinging and it really pi**es me off... Surely if I was willing to swing alone I would have an ad just for me and not one that was for a couple??
Does anyone else have this problem or is it just me??

I think it's a fairly common experience really insofar as people not taking proper note of what you say in your signature or a post or advert.
I still get str8 blokes contacting me who after a bit say something like "sorry, I thought you were female". rolleyes

No i think all women from couples have that problem, i do meet alone but soon as people know that everyone seems to fotget i have a hubby, meeting alone was a sometimes as well as not and always instead of confused

another problem i have found is couples who want a single fem but can't find one so settle for a couple and then try to exclude the hubby...not that REALLY pisses me off mad

Maybe they figure there's no harm in asking. But if they're asking after you've said you don't play on your own, well that's just dumb, and there's no cure for that. confused

I often suffer from the one line pm's, like many others,
I reply to say no thanks, then often get another pm straight with their phone number saying if I change my mind, I can contact them.
Which bit of no thanks do some people not understand!

Sadly I think this is again a case of some people reading what they want to read not what is actually there.
Now I know I am new here, so please shoot me down if I am wrong, but there also does seem to be that group of single males who just think that any swinging woman must be desparate for a shag whatever the situation, perhap they have been watching far too many 'Confessions of a (Insert Job)' movies lol

i normally try and send a one line witty pm if i do send one.
i have only ever replied to 2 ads on here and for those i did compose a few paragraphs.
I never give my number out to a person I have not met for real as you dont know where your number could end up.
Thats my words of wisdom for the day.

We get it as well. Single blokes who are obviously not swingers and scared of a 3some trying to get Mrs NC alone.
One guy we met for a drink, and brought him back home, and all time we were talking of a 3some, when we get back he tries to tell me to fuck off so he can "shag your mrs as you obviously not up to the job", this was done in a very aggressive manner. As was his ejection from our house into the street.
I just dont get it. People tell us that women are complicated beings but I dont understand single men either!!!!

I personally would never dream of asking to meet just the fem of a couple if thet said they only swing as a couple. but then again i've learnt to read the profiles and listen to what i'm told... this sometime s is a rare thing when it comes to alot. they she the photos on the profile and forget all else.

Think the issue of guys being in ads has been covered recently. I am now on our ad much to my embarrasment.
The reason Mrs NC was always in the pics was
1 I love to show her off and she loves to be shown off
2 Due to illness I have become very shy and self conscious so never liked my pic on the web.
I think many couples only show the woman for reason 1 above.
