Why does the forum never get any attention?

Despite updates in the amount of forum areas we still have ancient stickys from moderators and founders who have long since left. Doesnt this place need a good overhaul and all the stickys re written and maybe moved to a better location?
always makes the place look unprofessional I think

The forum has had a face lift, just ask the staff and the 200 members that are doing bug testing for the new site right now. I agree that we should clear all these old stickies out wink

about time to get rid of some of the crap.

. A few more weeks and you should all be able to use the new site and forum or this one. The new site will be linked from your home page so you can ease yourself into it until we pull the plug. Feedback from the testers has been very good so far lol

The chat room is being re built as we speak but the whole place has had a lick of paint.
Lots of goodies on the way after re launch lol

I've been using the new site almost exclusively now for the past few weeks.... in fact I hardly ever go back over to the old one. I must admit it took me a couple of days to get used to the new layouts, but now I have I find things a lot easier to use.
Like Martin said, Admin's plan is to let people ease themselves in at their own pace while they get used to things.
On a personal note I've got to say I'm very impressed by the way Admin are working on the transformation. Having 200 users testing and a side by side rollout is a vast improvement on the old Friday afternoon "hit and run" implementations some of us have seen before! :lol2:
