This to me instantly means no manners, disrespect, and often tells me that person is an insecure arsehole who wishes to 'shock' others to gain attention.

It was going so well untill this. lol

As a society we apparently need offensive adjectives as much as we desire labels, all changeable as someone mentioned in the past its been used extensively I have no problem using the word during sex as I have no problem using other words , all I can conclude is that its up to an individual if they find it offensive or in any context.

I also (probably wrongly but hey) believe it to be a good character indication of that person who happily and openly uses it in the presence of others. This to me instantly means no manners, disrespect, and often tells me that person is an insecure arsehole who wishes to 'shock' others to gain attention.

wont here any arguments from me on those comments :thumbup:

No. The foul-mouthed in some way having no close friends would hardly seem to be reasonable either. It could be argued, perhaps more persuasively that the use of colourful language would more likely be between friends, no?
Why assume its foul mouthed , what do you base this on. Its a word for gods sake nothing more or less.
...a word that is derived from "wedge shaped".
Surely the emotional thing is instinctive, so you are not using a choice? You are just reacting without thought/consideration?
I choose to use the word for good, not evil...in fact I think most things I tend to use for good, because I think there is more good in the world than not.
I won't judge people, everyone is individual and provided they don't set out to hurt others then for me it's all fair game.
Isn't "insecure arsehole" kinda "foul mouthed"? dunno

try saying that to a judge and see if he would think it was just a word. you would be banged up lol

It is just a word, but used in the wrong way, or wrong company, it is offensive to some. Those who have consideration for others will judge when, and when not to use such words. I agree that we should never allow words to become too powerful. but politeness, and consideration for others cost nothing.
All words are just words, but some can offend, see here; http://www.swingingheaven.co.uk/swingers-forum/viewtopicpage/403347/200.html Where the "N" word is discuses!

I do judge people. In some situations
I have seen situations where foul mouthed people have had no consideration for others near by with family's etc
If the mistress said it to the judge whilst he was under her control I'm sure it would be just fine wink
