hi guys
I am new to all this having just signed on yesterday. i wondered why the meetings were called munchs? Please enlighten me. I live in NE and would be interested in going to the one my ad is 15028

As far as we are aware, and no doubt some clever bugga will correct us rolleyes the term 'munch' originates from the American S & M scene, where an event like this would be held for newcomers and experienced people alike to be able to get together and chat and just generally get to meet each other in a vanilla environment. This would enable the 'newbies' to meet the more experienced and gleen information from them without any fear of being 'jumped on'. Very often this vanilla environment would be a restaurant, hence the term 'munch'.
