I can see why it was locked as it was pretty pointless...i didn't find it offensive but it may have gone that way given time.

Mmmmmmmmmm After reading the original post and thinking about it for all of 2 sec I came to the following conclusions,
A. It was meant to be humorours and a joke, not all jokes are to everyones taste usually some one some where can take offence or,
B. It was meant to provke a response by starting off a gay bashing thread.
SH is a swinging community (least it was) and folk of all sexual types are in here, the diversity of the addys will show this. To many times various members or groups get bashed by others like single guys, gays, tv's etc and the Mod proberbly acted to keep it from turning into a bash thread.

This is my way of thinking the original thread was locked, but this has caused more of an intrest than the original one would have but i have to agree it might of gone down that legal loophole if left open, three cheers for the mods

I'll politely ask again why the thread wasn't removed instead of locked..... ? If it, or others are actually offensive (The MB one was just pathetic imo) why does it remain... Wouldn't it be better to kill and pm the user that the content, in the opinion of the Mod was inappropriate ? To my mind it seems like humiliation is intended, leaving the user (sometimes thankfully) reluctant to post an acceptable thread in the future...

Hmmmmm well I have only recently started using this forum and have seen no obvious discrimination or intentional distaste towards any groups , even us 'trannies' and although I personally would have no problem with the thread I'm not a Mod , nor would I care to do that job , but I guess some poor blighter has to do it...........Steph

well ill put me 2 pence in the mod reads the rules as set by the site they interprit them as they feel fit if u dont like it dont post thats not hard is it ( btw before anyone jumps on that statement yes we have had posts removed and 1 ce banned so we speek from experience )
