Well, a while back I was in a similar position, my (ex) partner talked about it for ages, it seemed to really float her boat.....we discussed all aspects of how to get into "the scene", how it would affect our relationship, should we keep it quiet amongst friends and family.... then I suddenly realised, I had serious swinging convictions...and couldn't partake in all that religious guff...it made me feel dirty, it was sordid and the men wore cardigans....
The reason she is now my Ex.... she went onto a religious website and started being "holy" behind my back.... I couldn't take the dis-honesty...and now she's a nun....
I think his wife must have now abandoned her religious beliefs, as they are advertising for a 'munch session' in Surrey lol

Now there's an idea for a munch theme.
But could we trust Marms to keep it under his cassock? wink

If he actually wore one and kept it on, yes
Thanks to you all for the posts.
Please ignore if i hurt or made anyone feel bad about the posts.
We have discussed and open for webcam one to one chat with other genuine and experienced couples or munches in local. Its not affecting anything, just knowing and understanding the swinging lifestyle and that would help me and wife to understand if she had misconceptions. I have got the answers here.
Learnt from past postings, etc ... we have to be very careful and not rush.
Good plan ...good luck with it all xx
I think we have debated this long enough! Is she gonna drop 'em or what!!! hehehehe or is this your idea of foreplay???
Like I said earlier, this guy is chatting sh1t.
I dont think he's a scum reporter, but just a wind-up. What kind of religious beliefs could she have, that she hadn't thought of for 2 years while getting wet thinking about swinging? Yet a chat to a freind suddenly gets her into holy mode?
You sound like either somebody having a sick laugh, or totally in need of medical intervention.

Maybe she just had second thoughts and the religion thing provided a convenient ground for objection. Whatever the reasons, if this isn't a wind up, it looks like they really need to work on their communication before contemplating swinging.
I remember seeing a documentary about religion that said the reason for the invention of marriage and for monks and nuns abstaining from sex was due to STD's being rife, before religion there was no marriage. Thats why it was deemed important for both men and women to be virgins when they got married and the reason for not commiting adultery.
Also the reason why we hurt when a couple split is animal instinct, a woman falls out of love quicker than a man because men leave by nature, but men stay in love longer so they will return, its like the lion wandering the plains and going back each season to mate.
This is how humans used to be, we were animals once.
I used to be religious but the older i got and the more i learned the less i believed so now im not religious at all, but i do respect others views, mine are Darwinian, if there is a heaven n hell i want to go to the one where there is eternal sex
If heaven is such a wonderful place why do we hang on to life as long as we can instead of committing hari kiri to get there???
I have five senses and I believe in them ........ religion is designed to keep the sheep firmly under the heel of their masters.
How many times have we heard the phrase: If you don't believe in God you will spend eternity in damnation and hellfire!!! How bloody Christian is that!!!
And who says sex is dirty?? ....... It's messy sure.... but that's nice innit???
Gimme hell anyday!!!
Casinos, pubs, lapdancing, munches , to name but a FEW
Not sure about going to heaven confused All them * (grm) christians in one place :?
biggrin wink

Thanks Andy and Equi, if i go solo swining while wife doesn't approve swining... i will be cheating. I am confused as i am having deep desire to get swining for years now.

Does your wife know you have an ad in Men seeking Couples dunno
If you haven't told her, then your looking to cheat, simple as rolleyes
Sorry if I'd missed it, but I've not seen an answer to this question yet?

My late father being a rev, and my mum a teacher with a clasical lit and history degreee and my being a pervert... I think I can add a bit to this, lol.
The absitnance of sex my the clergy was for a number of reasons some valid and some not, it was felt that having sex and potential procreation would detract from the religious studies that continue while being a member of the cloth, also if a child were born then it could lead to the loss of a member of the cloth.. it was also a test of strenght and will power to abstain from an instinct also by imposing many rules the church tried to hold absolute power (and as we see from the debarcle that has happened in the RC church instinct overides religion hands down) also as same sex sex had been deemed to be wrong the church realised that with the absence of the opersite sex humans like animals resort to mutual same sex pleasure, so a blanket ban supposedly solved that problem, lol.
Marrage was created as a way to know who was intitled to inherit title and lands, as "law" was created over and above religious doctrine it specifically excluded iligitimate children from inheriting... religion itself just didnt reconise the fact that someone within the sanctity of marrage would go outside... it was also usefull because if no children were born or only women then the lands and title would revert to either the state or the church and lets not forget that proof of parentage was impossible... its not that long ago that if a child born within a family was not the biological child of the husband the law disreguarded that fact where finantial support was concerned should the marrage be disolved; blood, to a degree, and now DNA testing has meant that as parentage can be proved to a reasonable degree the law had to be amended to reconise absolute parentage instead of assumed parentage.
As for love, partnering, etc... I could probably write a thesis, lol.
But neither men nor women are that much different when it comes to playing arround and getting a bit on the side... Verbal poles are useless as people have the ability to lie, and will, lol... DNA testing is starting to show that between 30 and 50% of children born within marrage or the duration of a partnership are not the biological children of the male. There will be some skewing of the results due to the fact that DNA testing does tend to happen upon seperation so that gut feelings about parentage are expressed where as during the partnership that feeling is ignored or repressed for what ever reason... The co-relation to this is that partnered males also play around with single and partnered females... Only a strog sence of commitment to sociital or religious imposed morals prevents more people having sex outside a partnership, that and the fact that additional ofspring outside the partnership will place a finantial and emotional burdon on the partnership.
