Desperate to find a husband who makes at least $500,000 a year, a hungry 25-year-old has removed her craigslist ad off the Internet after causing quite a stir. She’s sparked a flurry of debate from cyberspace to Wall Street about her sanity and scruples. Craigslist officials said the ad is legitimate and that she got 40 responses before removing it. The reply was very well phrased but could have been put down in two simple words.

As it happens he did not complete his double due diligence properly because the 'beautiful' thing was offering sophistication, culture plus a few other things as well as her ephemeral beauty.
Poor sap $500+k pa to blow and he missed his chance by counter-offering a short-term deal too early.
Basic negotiating mistake that - blow the deal before you get down to the wire! rolleyes

Americans....
What's amusing is the simplistic logic and expectation that there are people out there who are going to go along with this.
Equally from the point of the responders replies and the rationale given. The acceptance that such mentaltites exist and warrant some kind of reasonable response.
