How important is your job?

The world would stop if I'm not in work!

I have to be there most the time...

My work makes not the slightest bit of difference to anything

Totally agree with this TnH - I'm sure I will one day return to doing my own thing but at the moment a paycheck and a bit of structure is what I need.
Wish I had a specific skill or talent like Harry or Agricola, that I could use to make money rather than having to run a business where I have to employ others.

I did the self-employed bit earlier in the year and it was great fun being my own boss and not having to clock-watch. The only problem was I couldn't find nearly enough clients to make it actually pay... sad

Interesting to see the distribution of votes on the poll - most folks seem to be reasonably important, with less people very important and not so important. Reassuring to see that there are actually more satisfying jobs out there - and abject misery isn't all there is. Here's hoping I can find one. :cheers:
