Take Action Today
Around forty million people are living with HIV throughout the world - and that number increases in every region every day. In the UK alone, more than 60,000 people are living with HIV and more than 7,000 more are diagnosed every year. Ignorance and prejudice are fuelling the spread of a preventable disease.
World AIDS Day, 1 December is an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV and AIDS. This year, it's up to you, me and us to stop the spread of HIV and end prejudice.
This starts by taking action.

Just had a quick look round the forum and was amazed to see that a thread which should have been essential reading for everyone in SH towers has had less viewers than a thread about Britney Spears.
I'm sorry to say that I think that just is not right. redface
Shame.
Unashamed BUMP!. Every day should be AIDS awareness day.

That's cos the site was down for most of the evening yesterday - don't think it's a reflection of people's interest or ignorance.
There was a good documentary on last night called Age of aids. It’s in two parts the second part is on tonight. It’s is on more 4, it might be online at the C4 website.
Defiantly worth a watch, Aids is scary.

confused Hmmmm...I'm not so sure now.
Britney Spears 169 viewers versus World Aids Day 113 viewers.
Sorry, but that must indicate something.
De_sade mumbles something to himself and decides to do a little more research...
But not before BUMPING the thread because if any thread is worth BUMPING it's this one...
Thanks for the BUMP De_Sade.
Maybe I should have called the thread "Rate my kebab shot!" - maybe I will change the name to see what happens! lol
Anyway I just put the thread 'out there' it's up to other people if they choose to look or not. Some views are better than none. wink
