Worrying about people!!??

Bloody people cant help worrying about them! Im afraid I may care too much that sounds terrible I know!
But am worried about my shagging partner, I havent heard from him since tuesday and its not like him not to send a wee text back! His Dad was going into hospital yesterday so I dunno if somethings wrong or not and I dont wanna text him too much or phone in case anything is wrong and he probably doesnt need people bugging him!
I just hope hes ok wherever he is sad

Sorry for coming on and moaning about this but its been eating at me all day and Im just worried confused

If it was me I think I would send another text to say you were thinking of him and then leave him alone till he gets in touch biggrin

Yeah maybe I will later! Just hope everythings ok got allsorts running through my head! He might be a shagging partner but I do care a lot for him.

I'm a lot like that.....one of my shagging partners lives in Australia and I keep thinking that if something happened to him that no one would think to call me and let me know.......so I panic if he doesn't get back to me when I text him....
So I totally understand where you're coming from hun......but what I would do is send him another text and then just wait for a reply......it will be okay...

I must admit I do get worried on occasions when some of the regulars on here disappear for a period of time, when it's one of the ones who doesn't normally miss more than a day or two in here....and I don't have peeps' mobile numbers on here to phone or text them (except one). But then again last October I disappeared for about three weeks and nobody knew where I was (away on holiday abroad) so I can't talk much can I! rolleyes

( I wouldn't do that again though without telling someone.)

It's a difficult balance between your need to know, your partner's need to set their priorities, especially in a family emergency, your need to give them a bit of space... more like juggling than balancing.
I think I'd probably send a one liner like "Thinking about you a lot - hope your Dad's okay" and then sweat buckets for a few days till they got back to me. If it was more than a few days I'd be very tempted to ring, a risky one, but I am not sure I could avoid it. Same tone, of course, as in the text.
How on earth did we handle this kind of stuff in the days before text messages and mobile phones?

Got a wee text about 5 mins ago from him (did have some problems and couldnt get in contact!) Just a huge relief to know he is ok biggrin

Yeah, I've done it... worry, that is.
Had a major panic attack on, when someone had not logged in here for a couple of days. Being as they had been terribly depressed for a long time, prior to that. Seemed like a corner had been turned, then WALLOP! Not here! Did I panic?! I was SMSing and PMing and whathave you, just to find out thaey had worked a double shift. rolleyes

Not that I give a shit really. Oh no. Not me.

If yer out of it you've got no idea what the fuck people think - unless you've got a pal reporting back. God I was out for nearly five weeks and it was one person, who kept me alive to thank for my continued confinement in SH Towers. I love her dearly.

Bluddy felt like it!! NTL cyberspace more like. It took the full weight of SH tecchie power to get me back - seems like a dream now. God just to think what I'd have missed if I hadn't got back!!
