I like a person in their natural habitat (no not nekkid, that comes later) nice fitting jeans (not too tight, not too loose) and tank top on girls. (mm. specially wifebeaters) or a loose skirt a little above the knee...
and men: jeans (a little baggy) and a tightish white undershirt/tshirt rowr!!
I'm visually based too, but honestly it's reall more the personality... and I guess the eyes. I'm an absolute sucker for blue-eyed boys.

For women i think that either top or bottom half on show but not both works. You either show cleavage or your legs and ass but not both. Leaves something to the imagination.
That said I'm sure there are times when I've left nothing to the imagination, but that's a different story.....
