i am just going to hire a hot tub this weekend for the first time has anyone else done this before?
nope we havnt got the room
it's a lot of faff just for a weekend.
What sort of heater does it come with, some sort of gigawatt device to get it ready in time..?
biggrin
im not sure the specs but the people we are hireing it from say that it can all be up and running in approx 1 hour after delivery
Well that's one hell of a heater....
...or have you got a partcularly magnificent combi boiler....?
lol
well we will wait and see i personally dont know much about hot tub spas but i thought for a mere £30 a day hire it was worth a go
hire one? HIRE one?
just go all out and buy the damn thing? even if it costs stupid amounts of money, and you spend the next few weekends knocking up one of those kinda spanish veranda thingies out of a few 2be4s, with ivy all over 'em??

well . . . they would say that? confused make it a day? :? ;)
i'd give me right arm for an 8 seater jacuzzi in me 'ouse! just be prepared to keep on using uswitch to juggle the leccy bills? ;)
neil x x x ;)
I was looking at hiring one for our party a few weeks ago and it wasn't too expensive - but I haven't a clue how they'd get it into the garden! Think it was about £120 for three days.
Dave_Notts suggested the garage but then we'd have had to empty the junk out of there! :scared:
Only 30squidoolies though. confused Please post a picture of it, I might be interested in one myself. :rascal:
Good points made... How would you get it into an average urban garden? Fork lift truck or do they dump it in like it was a skip?
Maybe I'll just hire a skip and a couple of water pumps? Should do the trick! lol
We've thought about one & now people are saying they are that cheap to hire  we'll give it another good think .
Just dunno if our garden is secluded enough  with neighbours to the right with a low fence & the people that back on to our garden have a wonderful view of all our garden & kitchen mad
Oh & the field that slopes up on the left that people can see from.
We have talked about having one in the garage for the odd weekend.
I just don't know how to hide the giggling and other noises that might be heard dunno

Your farting noises should cover any other noises :giggle:

Its not my fault, its my medication rolleyes

Can I hire Dawnie for my skip idea if she farts that much and that well?
She'll save me a fortune on the bubble pumps! lol

Make it a two-night party and feed everyone beans the first night - jacuzzi sorted for the following night.
One of the long standing couples on here have a big one in their back garden - think it could hold 8 people but it's better with fewer. They've built a decking round it for easy entry and exit and is not overlooked by any neighbours.
I have been known to misbehave outrageously in it redface surprisedops: to great effect and without disturbing the neighbours.

I refuse to be paid with Goldfish :smug:
For heaven's sake... I wouldn't put goldfish in the skip...
... you might turn them belly up with the stinkiness of the bean and sprout enduced rumbles!
And if I fed all my house guests beans the night before... that would just be awful for them!
Then I'd have the rspca on my hands complaining about cruelty to goldfish, not to mention Davej for stealing his secret stash of ironing goldfish and then Easy would be on my case too.
Oh nooooo, goldfish would be a very very bad idea.
ps. just thinking... I know... a dangerous passtime for me... if you got fed up of the kitten and tried to flush it down the loo the RSPCA would turn up... why is not the same for goldfish? dunno

Because goldfish can swim and kittens can't so they bob to the top after every flush :dunno:

Don't goldfish only float when they're dead? Ask Davej - his must be boiled alive now in his light fitting at the bottom of his stairs. lol
