Hi Folks
I've been trying (unsuccessfully) for a couple of weeks to meet a couple for a MMF.
I've heard that couples get alot of time wasters. I think I'm presenting myself well, I include the asked for photo's with a couple of paragraphs about me. Also I don't ask for any photo's. But no luck yet.
Do I need more persistance, a bigger cock or am I doing something wrong? Any pointers greatly appreciated.

so point one it can be a bit of a numbers game
also location location location ..some areas north west much busy than say wales

I'm not sure if you've been replying to ads and if so where, but presumably it hasn't been on this site because you only joined as a registered member of SH today (unless of course you saw posts in LMU which gave permitted contact details so unregistered members could reply). 
It's been said countless times before here in the cafe and it's true, notably, to get the most out of SH and maximise your chances of getting to meet people and/or make friends here, get yourself known by easing yourself gently in and replying on some threads. Of course you can start up your own thread, but it's success (because you're an unknown poster) will be almost entirely dependent on how interesting, amusing or whatever, people who read it find it. The analogy with the pub is a good one. You wouldn't get far if you walked into a strange pub and started gatecrashing other people's, and groups of people's, conversations. Would you? However, if you politely approached them you might strike up a conversation and end up making a whole new set of friends.
It's not neccessary to post an introduction about yourself (together with shed loads of others I never did), but I think the consensus of opinion is that it's a good idea. It's entirely up to you.
One thing that happens a lot here is that people don't bother to read the site rules, or take the trouble to get a feel for the site etiquette before they come charging in expecting instant success. It doesn't work like that. :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock:

As others have said 2 weeks is not a long time. Be patient and get yourself known on here answer a few posts etc. Im sure you will find what are looking for in time
