Has anyone been to Xanadus in Manchester since it reopened a few weeks ago?
If so what's it like thesedays for couples.

It would take a minor miracle to get me to go back to Xanadus tbh.
I have been before they 'rennovated' and found it extrememly dirty, badly laid out and on the whole the worst club I have ever been in. *puke*
I've looked at the 'improvements' they have made and it will take a hell of a lot more to entice me to go back than covering over the problems with shiney fabric and a bit of superficial glitz. Not only that, we would not pay to be a member of Xanadus in a million years for several reasons, one of which is due the reputation it managed to accrue in the fast few years under previous owners.
I'd even hesitate at paying an entrance fee for there unless they had a recent fumigation certificate to hand, let alone a yearly subscription.

We went once, many years ago, and that was enough, so we can't comment on the club at the moment. However, considering the poor reputation that the club has among many regular NW club users it's surprising to see the pricing structure that is in place at the moment. The membership fees would put it among the most expensive clubs around, and for an unknown quantity that's too high.

..... actually there were other things I could have mentioned about the place, the attitude of the past staff, some of the more... erm... 'organised / hired' guests 
and other aspects, but seeing as that management have moved on... it's not really that relevant other than to say it was most unpleasant. No point mincing around the bush! :lol: ;)
Is it something like £50 per couple membership that theyre asking? With an entrance fee each time on top of that? I'm making no apologies for saying it's too expensive for a)where it is b)what it offers (nights etc...) c) the facilities and d)what the competition offers for less.
I agree whole heartedly with the sentiments nw-cpl expressed, simply too much for an unknown quantity with a bad reputation, especially in the NorthWest region. I can think of four damn good nights out at a club for couples without having to leave greater manchester.... Thursday's couple nights at Partners Bury, Tuesday or Saturday nights at Cupids Swinton or Sunday afternoons at Liasons, much better value for money and if you hate it... no yearly subscrption money wasted.

Gem. x They've changed the couples membership since the last time I looked at their site. It's now £30 pa but it was by the quarter with 2 tiers of membership, the more expensive allowing you to use the wet area. I can't remember what the original figures were but I do remember having to go for a lie down to recover when I saw them. The single guys membership is 2 tier - either £50 or £70 per quarter with £30 in each time. :shock: :shock: :shock: I normally haven't a problem with membership differentials at clubs but that seems to be taking the piss.

Most hilarious prices Ive ever heard! Top clubs with brill faciliities like Xtasia, Utopia and Chameleons dont even charge those prices... why would you bother with xanadus!???
