First post Iv started for a while so here goes....
We were discussing yesterday what we were going to do on Xmas eve this year and suddenly realised it was exactly the same as last year and the one before!!
Although we are young, impossibly gorgeous and very sexy people (honest), me and miss srne rarely go pubbing and clubbing
We both have the day off work on xmas eve day and are going to stop in and watch the same 4 films we watched last year and the one before, get in the same pizza same drinks (non alcoholic kiddy pop) and push the settes together and bring the quilts down for an all in sweets and films fest.
Pretty sad we realise for two young sexpots but it has sort of become an every year tradition and we were wondering,do any of you guys have any traditions or routines you do year after year and what are they?
thats "quality time" cool
chilling with your partner is time well spent IMO
 WOW!!! srne, that sounds like total bliss.........hmmm wonder if i have got the room to that with my 3 piece suite biggrin and if so will i fit me, mr B 4 kids and 4 dogs on with us lol

In that case just get all the mattress down in the front room and get everyone on them like a bouncy lounge, would be mint!!
Christmas Day has always been spent with my parents and family. My Dad loved Christmas and he insisted that we all go there for lunch, 4 courses and flaming pudding. He put so much brandy on it one year he almost det fire to the table cloth rolleyes The following year we got him back and waited until he was ready to light it before I stood behind him with the fire extinguisher rotflmao
I started a tradition of buying him a box of Turkish Delight from my eldest son and it was the pressie he looked for first. Even now, 4 years after he died, I still buy a box and place it on the table.

I think that is a lovely way to spend Christmas Eve, Srne - have a great and cosy time.
Plim rolleyes smile
this will be first christmas for me and bubblylorraine
so have no traditions
but might have fun making some lol
we are breaking a tradition this year in the 16 years i have been with my hubby every year we have gone to his parents but this year we're not which is good news for me lol
Have to agree with the others... It sounds a great way to spend a Christmas Eve... Young or old- Why not?
Relax... enjoy chill snuggle up and pig out.. sounds perfect..
Mike xx..
me and dek always open our presents after midnight on xmas eve its more relaxed dont know why we started it though thats about the only routine
Christmas Eve is spent at home with the kids. My parents come round, sometimes Ians parents too. We have food, play silly party games and wind the younger two children up till they are excited enough to burst :lol2:
They are allowed to put a pressie or two under the tree before bed. I just love to see their faces and worry how much longer I'll get the pleasure of their excitement confused
Morning Srne kiss that's sounds like heaven.. when there are just the two of you it's pure quality time.
I've always been a bit of a home bird on christmas eve I have to say, I get all my chores done the day before and put on my music and chill. This year I'm going to be baking and will make some mulled wine, put the fire on and enjoy the evening. Last year was terrible, I'd been poorly and was still delivering parcels at 8pm on christmas eve
Christmas Eve is my favourite day, far better than the main day itself!..
That sounds like the perfect way to spend Christmas eve biggrin
We spend it waiting for the kids to go to sleep and then try quietly to sneak the prezzies out of their hiding places and put them round the tree.
We then have hot chocolate in bed and open our presents and then cuddle up and watch a soapy romantic film smile

Yeah same for us too Christmas eve is much better than Xmas Day itself!! Hope you all have a bloody GooD 'Un!!
"Tradition" would normally dictate that I'd be spending the whole day (xmas eve) prepping food- and the whole evening, sometimes until 2/3 am, wrapping the kids pressies.
Result- one knackered mum when the kids get up at stupid o clock confused
This year, we won't be having a remotely traditional xmas at all. We're even making some changes so it feels as different as possible.
Not wanting to put a dampner on the thread, so I'll keep it brief.
We have four kids. At the moment, #2 child isn't living with us. She's 14. Theres no way she can come away with us at xmas- so you can imagine- especially as we're going to a place (booked long ago) that we've spent happy times together as a family before. However, there are three sprogs who will be with us- so happy faces will be worn!
We also have an addition to cater for, a "special friend" of mine :rascal: who it turns out is an expert skier. His mum passed away recently, and he would have been on his own- so hopefully he will feel like one of the family.
I've suggested a change of plan for xmas day, to make the most of the light. Get up, kids demolish stockings, have some food, and open just one pressie. Get dressed, then do a few hours skiing. Back down the mountain at about 3, when the kids can open the rest of their pressies whilst I get the food going at the other side of the room. That way, we can kick back & chill out with a glass or two whilst the kids play with their new toys, and we may all go outside for some sledging down the garden or a snowball fight.
Different, but we hope to make it special for everyone.
