Yorks Munch thank you thread

Ok, Ok we're officially sad and boring and came home.
So - thanks to Babe1 and PebblesDemon for all their hard work in putting tonight together. It was a fantastic night and there were lots of new faces who have now popped their munch cherries biggrin

There was also a big police presence tonight - they obviously heard about all the bloody reprobates who would be going, not to mention all the robbers! We even had two real ambulance men turn up, though not for us - it was for the staff. :shock:
I won't do the name thing but it was lovely to see familiar faces and new ones all having a great time together. One of the bar staff said she was looking forward to when we all go back, so we must have been well-behaved :D

Thankfully someone else has started the thank you thread - for a scary moment i thought it would be down to me, and knowing my luck with threads i'd probably have posted it in the wrong place or duplicated it! Anyway - I'm finally home after a mad three hour drive right after the munch - only through the door for a cup of coffee before heading into work for a fun packed 12 hour shift ( btw i was kidding about the fun bit!!!) That will hopefully explain why i was the boring, lightweight, coke drinking, fat bastard, timewasting southerner ( there did i cover everyone?) who left early to get his head down! Once again the yorks munch seems to have set the precedent for other munches to emulate- So many people getting into the spirit and going to great lengths to dress up in fancy dress! I did so many double takes each time postie and tatty came through the doors to make sure it wasn't the real old bill! Good work!
Major credit and thanks to babe1 for the original idea and initial l planning, and also to demon and pebbles for the outstanding work you did taking over! You did us all proud
I'm afraid my sleep deprived brain and body won't allow to mention other names for fear of missing someone out - but it was great to catch up with the old faces, meet some new ones, and get the chance to chat with some I've never chatted to before. I really would have loved to stop and chat more ( and you don't know how sorely tempted i was) but thanks to everyone for making my last munch before my self enforced hiatus SO memorable - see you all in December!

a big thank you all who were there last night,we felt so welcome,it was our first munch but hoping not our last,a very very big thank you too the organisers,we couldnt have asked for a nicer group of kelly has a hang over,thats a sign of a good night.

Particular thanks to Chesty for persuading me to go in the first place, Davidn48 & Oaky for the laughs, & Nipsey and Darren for their company & the lift back to the hotel. :D

time to give my thanks....
It had been a while since i have gotten to go to a munch and it was just like i had never been away.... I like everyone else and not going to name names for fear of leaving someone out...
but huge thanks go to babe1 and pebblesdemon for organising a faboulus event...
hope you all had a good brekkie this morning and sorry i left the hotel so early... The call of my own bed was just too strong.... smile

WOW ...what a night. A fantastic bunch of people all getting together to make the Yorkshire munch a resounding success. But it would nt have happened without the tremendous hard work of Babe1 and PebblesDemon in putting it all together so a massive thanks to you all for another brilliant night
It was a great night again and so good to see old friends again and to meet the many new ones i did although i wont go into mentioning names cept to say an ernormous thank you to Suze biggrin

you made it all the more special for me hunni thanks for your company over the weekend :D
Right then , this old so n so is off to polish his zimmer frame because some bugga spilt beer on it last night and i dont want it to rust then i m off to bed cos these 5am bedtimes are no good to me at my age

I had a brill nite....... It was great to see every1 i already knew again and even better to meet lots of new people too :D To many to mention but here is a few...
Andy n Bipaula.... Brill people... kept me smiling all nite... Andy aka "The Smooth Talker"... If your gonna ask me "Do i wanna shag or wot"... in the future... please ensure that you manage to keep ur eyes open long enough to receive an answer.... and Paula.. UR farts stink my girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not many people could cope with waking up with ur tits in there face Oh... and u broke my handcuffs bitch!!

Back..safe and sound.. and reflecting on yet another superb evening in yorkshire.... congrats..as ever..go to Babe 1 and PebblesDemon... execellent job done by you all .....to make the yorkshire munch as successful an event as it is..big hugs to you all
I would also like to say that it was nice to see that the munch attracted more newcomers to the world of munches.. you wont get a better introduction than you got at yesterdays yorks munch...
Ok as always..i had some high spots and low spots during the munch..here goes..
High spots ..well this time i have two....
Firstly..the pre munch pub meet was superb,, and in reference to the newcomers, this made the munch itself less daunting...an excelent idea and worth repeating.......Secondly, on behalf of my fellow Spit Roast tag team member..Wishmaster...a serious high spot happened about 11pm when we convinced a certain female from Bridlington to be our Day 6 spitroast during our National tour.......u cant beat a good day out at the seaside lol...
Low spots.... having the misfortune to be on a double bed with bipaula on Sunday morning.. as she belched and then farted..... i always knew she had class NOT!!!!!!
One last thanks, apart from to Kaz for my derogatory badge, is to my travelling compagnion and new drinking mate (replacing tatty - the lightweight drinker)...thanks to Lilmiss for being such good company over the last 24 hours.....xxxxxx to you xxx

I think I may be fully recovered enough to post in here now, but that kinda remains to be seen....
Firstly, massive thanks to Babe1, Pebblesdemon and Kaz for all the work you put into organising the munch, hotel rooms and badges passionkiss

Also to my fellow travellers hardnlusty for keeping me awake on the motorway - even if Hard can't read a blody map rolleyes

All my fellow car park pre-munchers how did I get so drunk sitting there for 10 minutes (how fast the time went!!) and Pebbles, hope your head is ok after the way you cracked it on the boot of your car :therethere:
The rest of the night is a bit of a blur, but all those cops and robbers outside waiting for taxis to take us to the munch really was a sight to behold lol

Oh yeah, thanks to Alex_Female for keeping up munch tradition and jumping on my foot within minutes of seeing me :shock: :lol:
The munch itself was fantastic, and despite my protestations on Thursday that I don't snog at munches, there were at least 3 exceptions last night silly

assionkiss: and I even have to admit that there was at least one other person that I wish I'd managed to get into a clinch ;) Naming no names bolt

Finally, my apologies for missing breakfast, there was some kind of mix up with my taxi redface

and I ended up in completely the wrong hotel and then had to do a full tour of Doncaster this morning to try and get back to the hotel I was supposed to be staying in - but massive thanks to the kind person who put me up for the night :twisted: :twisted:
