I have just finished reading John Francomes' Back Hander.......
Wow.... even better than anything he has ever written before... gives Dick Francis a definite run for his money... and possibly wins on the nod..... lol.... it's a thriller set in and around a racing yard and race-course........
I only bought it yesterday... and have been swept along into the story from page one... until i finished it early this morning...
Now, i read a fair number of books, but this one has to take top place as yet....

The most recent one I couldn't put down was 'Deception Point', by Dan Brown. It was written before the overated 'Davinci Code' and wow what a fast paced read :shock:
Am currently reading 'London Bridges' by James Patterson :thumbup:

The last book I had trouble puting down was Fleshmarket Close by Ian Rankin, in fact all of his books are fairly gripping and easy to read.
the witches of chiswick, by robert rankin, now read 4 times,
good omens by terry pratchett and neil gaimen, now lost count....
and have just finished reading the complete hitchikers guide to the galaxy, the trilogy in five parts...for the umpteanth time. douglas adams..genius rest in peace...
i agree on deception point although i liked the de vinci code too.

Frank Skinners book Frank Skinner was good, and James Patterson Violets are blue
