Really disappointed by the scene in this area (Cumbria / SW Scot)....... past history proves that there are loads of "shakers" & not enough "movers". Also people saying they are up for a good time but when the chips are down are not prepared to commit.
So....in my simple mind - these people should find something else to keep keep themselves occupied.

Hi All
Yes ....its all went a little quiet...
This is directed at all the interested couples here.
I did say a while ago when we tried to get some meets up & going that I felt that it was in the couples best interest to try to arrange a venue & invite people who they felt comfortable with. Not sure why couples felt uncomfortable with this because it gives them the opportunity to control the environment & not to have too many guys arround at the same time.
Maybe I am being to considerate to these people ...but I honestly thought it was the best solution.
Would you couples out there please tell me what you think.....why you possibly think this might not work & maybe you can give some suggestions of your own.

I think now reading all the replies ....we have sufficient numbers of people (cpls/m.....but no single fems) to get this show on the road. What we need now is the first excursion so to speak. Has anyone any sensible ideas where this may just take place. I also know that it is no good having everyone turn up at the one meeting so I suggest that once a venue has been agreed that a number of cpls invite selected persons who they wish to attend.
Everyone can throw their name in the ring (by means of E-mail add) but we should not let this thing spoil by getting too big too fast.

Hi all.....have read with interest the number of messages from both Cpls & singles alike who wish to share some "common ground" so to speak. It must be said that there is an opportunity for people all over cumbria / sw scotland & we should not limit this to South Lakes alone.
As I have already read....let us all get together & organise a suitable venue/location & make this the sucess we all want it to be!!
